Deuteronomy 11:26–16:17
“See,” says Moses to the people of Israel, “I place before you today a blessing and a curse”—the blessing that will come when they fulfill G‑d’s commandments, and the curse if they abandon them. These should be proclaimed on Mount Gerizim and Mount Ebal when the people cross over into the Holy Land.

Resumen de la Parashá
Deuteronomio 11:26-16:17
“Ve,” dice Moshé al pueblo de Israel, “pongo frente a ti, hoy, bendición y maldición”, la bendición que vendrá cuando observen los mandamientos Divinos y la maldición si los abandonan. Estas serán proclamadas en el Monte Grizim y Eibal, cuando el pueblo cruce hacia la Tierra Santa.
Un Templo deberá ser establecido en “el lugar que Di-s elegirá para hacer morar Su nombre allí”, donde la gente traerá sus sacrificios; está prohibido traer ofrendas a Di-s en cualquier otro lugar. Está permitido degollar animales en otros lugares, no como sacrificios, sino para comer su carne. Sin embargo la sangre, que en el Templo es vertida en el Altar, está prohibida(…)

| 26 Behold, I set before you today a blessing and a curse. | כורְאֵ֗ה אָֽנֹכִ֛י נֹתֵ֥ן לִפְנֵיכֶ֖ם הַיּ֑וֹם בְּרָכָ֖ה וּקְלָלָֽה: | |
| 27 The blessing, that you will heed the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you today; | כזאֶת־הַבְּרָכָ֑ה אֲשֶׁ֣ר תִּשְׁמְע֗וּ אֶל־מִצְוֹת֙ יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶ֔ם אֲשֶׁ֧ר אָֽנֹכִ֛י מְצַוֶּ֥ה אֶתְכֶ֖ם הַיּֽוֹם: |
(26) Mira que hoy pongo ante vosotros una bendición y una maldición.
(27) La bendición es válida si cumples los mandamientos del Eterno vuestro Dios que hoy os imparto.

| 1 These are the statutes and ordinances that you shall keep to perform in the land which the Lord God of your fathers gives you to possess all the days that you live on the earth. | אאֵלֶּה הַֽחֻקִּ֣ים וְהַמִּשְׁפָּטִים֘ אֲשֶׁ֣ר תִּשְׁמְר֣וּן לַֽעֲשׂוֹת֒ בָּאָ֕רֶץ אֲשֶׁר֩ נָתַ֨ן יְהֹוָ֜ה אֱלֹהֵ֧י אֲבֹתֶ֛יךָ לְךָ֖ לְרִשְׁתָּ֑הּ כָּ֨ל־הַיָּמִ֔ים אֲשֶׁר־אַתֶּ֥ם חַיִּ֖ים עַל־הָֽאֲדָמָֽה: | |
| 2 You shall utterly destroy from all the places where the nations, that you shall possess, worshipped their gods, upon the lofty mountains and upon the hills, and under every lush tree. | באַבֵּ֣ד תְּאַבְּד֠וּן אֶת־כָּל־הַמְּקֹמ֞וֹת אֲשֶׁ֧ר עָֽבְדוּ־שָׁ֣ם הַגּוֹיִ֗ם אֲשֶׁ֥ר אַתֶּ֛ם יֹֽרְשִׁ֥ים אֹתָ֖ם אֶת־אֱלֹֽהֵיהֶ֑ם עַל־הֶֽהָרִ֤ים הָֽרָמִים֙ וְעַל־הַגְּבָע֔וֹת וְתַ֖חַת כָּל־עֵ֥ץ רַֽעֲנָֽן: | |
| 3 And you shall tear down their altars, smash their monuments, burn their asherim with fire, cut down the graven images of their gods, and destroy their name from that place. | גוְנִתַּצְתֶּ֣ם אֶת־מִזְבְּחֹתָ֗ם וְשִׁבַּרְתֶּם֙ אֶת־מַצֵּ֣בֹתָ֔ם וַֽאֲשֵֽׁרֵיהֶם֙ תִּשְׂרְפ֣וּן בָּאֵ֔שׁ וּפְסִילֵ֥י אֱלֹֽהֵיהֶ֖ם תְּגַדֵּע֑וּן וְאִבַּדְתֶּ֣ם אֶת־שְׁמָ֔ם מִן־הַמָּק֖וֹם הַהֽוּא: | |
| 4 You shall not do so to the Lord, your God. | דלֹא־תַֽעֲשׂ֣וּן כֵּ֔ן לַֽיהֹוָ֖ה אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶֽם: | |
| 5 But only to the place which the Lord your God shall choose from all your tribes, to set His Name there; you shall inquire after His dwelling and come there. | הכִּי אִם־אֶל־הַמָּק֞וֹם אֲשֶׁר־יִבְחַ֨ר יְהֹוָ֤ה אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶם֙ מִכָּל־שִׁבְטֵיכֶ֔ם לָשׂ֥וּם אֶת־שְׁמ֖וֹ שָׁ֑ם לְשִׁכְנ֥וֹ תִדְרְשׁ֖וּ וּבָ֥אתָ שָּֽׁמָּה: |
(1) Y éstos son los estatutos y preceptos que observaréis en la tierra que el Eterno, Dios de tus padres te da para que poseas todos los días de tu vida sobre ella.
(2) Destruirés totalmente todos los lugares donde los pueblos que conquistaréis sirven a sus dioses, tanto sobre las montañas como sobre las colinas y bajo los árboles frondosos.
(3) Destruiréis sus altares, quebraréis sus estatuas, quemaréis sus árboles que hacen de idolos, derribaréis las esculturas de sus dioses y hasta extirparéis sus nombres de esos lugares.
(4) No adoraréis así al Eterno vuestro Dios,
(5) sino únicamente en el sitio que Él escogerá entre todas vuestras tribus con destino a morada Suya, allí vendréis para oficiar.

| 7 And there you shall eat before the Lord, your God, and you shall rejoice in all your endeavors you and your households, as the Lord, your God, has blessed you. | זוַֽאֲכַלְתֶּם־שָׁ֗ם לִפְנֵי֙ יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶ֔ם וּשְׂמַחְתֶּ֗ם בְּכֹל֙ מִשְׁלַ֣ח יֶדְכֶ֔ם אַתֶּ֖ם וּבָֽתֵּיכֶ֑ם אֲשֶׁ֥ר בֵּֽרַכְךָ֖ יְהֹוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֶֽיךָ: |
(7)Y allí comeréis ante el Eterno vuestro Dios y os regocijaréis por cada obra de vuestras manos, vosotros y vuestras familias con que el Eterno, vuestro Dios os ha bendecido.

| 23 However, be strong not to eat the blood, for the blood is the soul; and you shall not eat the soul with the flesh. | כגרַ֣ק חֲזַ֗ק לְבִלְתִּי֙ אֲכֹ֣ל הַדָּ֔ם כִּ֥י הַדָּ֖ם ה֣וּא הַנָּ֑פֶשׁ וְלֹֽא־תֹאכַ֥ל הַנֶּ֖פֶשׁ עִם־הַבָּשָֽׂר: | |
| 24 You shall not eat it, you shall spill it on the ground, like water. | כדלֹ֖א תֹּֽאכְלֶ֑נּוּ עַל־הָאָ֥רֶץ תִּשְׁפְּכֶ֖נּוּ כַּמָּֽיִם: | |
| 25 You shall not eat it, in order that it be good for you, and for your children after you, when you do what is proper in the eyes of the Lord. | כהלֹ֖א תֹּֽאכְלֶ֑נּוּ לְמַ֨עַן יִיטַ֤ב לְךָ֙ וּלְבָנֶ֣יךָ אַֽחֲרֶ֔יךָ כִּי־תַֽעֲשֶׂ֥ה הַיָּשָׁ֖ר בְּעֵינֵ֥י יְהֹוָֽה: |
(23) atendiendo siempre a la prohibición de comer sangre, porque la sangre es la vida y te esta vedado comer la vida de la carne.
(24) En vez comerla la derramarás sobre la tierra como agua.
(25) No la comeras para que tú y tus hijos sean felices, al hacer lo que es correcto a los ojos del Eterno.
