“Y Ester fue llevada por el Rey Ajashverosh a su palacio, en el décimo mes, que es el mes de Tevet, en el séptimo año de su reinado. Y el rey amó a Ester más que a todas las mujeres, y ella obtuvo su favor y benevolencia más que todas las vírgenes; él puso la corona real sobre su cabeza y la hizo reina en lugar de Vashti” (Libro de Ester 2:16-17). Esto prepare el escenario para el milagro de Purim seis años después, el 13 y el 14 de Adar del año 3504 desde la creación (356 AEC).

Esther made Queen (362 BCE)
“And Esther was taken to King Achashverosh, to his palace, in the tenth month, which is the month of Tevet, in the seventh year of his reign. And the king loved Esther more than all the women, and she won his favor and kindness more than all the virgins; he placed the royal crown on her head and made her queen in Vashti’s stead” (Book of Esther 2:16-17). This set the stage for the miracle of Purim six years later, on the 13th and 14th of Adar of the year 3405 from creation (356 BCE).
Today is Rosh Chodesh (“Head of the Month”) for the month of Tevet.
