21 Y ou shall not oppress any widow or orphan. כאכָּל־אַלְמָנָ֥ה וְיָת֖וֹם לֹ֥א תְעַנּֽוּן:
22 If you oppress him, [beware,] for if he cries out to Me, I will surely hear his cry. כבאִם־עַנֵּ֥ה תְעַנֵּה אֹת֑וֹ כִּ֣י אִם־צָעֹ֤ק יִצְעַק֙ אֵלַ֔י שָׁמֹ֥עַ אֶשְׁמַ֖ע צַֽעֲקָתֽוֹ:

Mishlei – Proverbs – Chapter 31

8 Open your mouth for the dumb, to the cause of all whose help has passed. חפְּתַח־פִּ֥יךָ לְאִלֵּ֑ם אֶל־דִּ֜֗ין כָּל־בְּנֵ֥י חֲלֽוֹף:
9 Open your mouth, judge justly and plead the cause of the poor and the needy. טפְּתַח־פִּ֥יךָ שְׁפָט־צֶ֑דֶק וְ֜דִ֗ין עָנִ֥י וְאֶבְיֽוֹן:

Tehillim – Psalms – Chapter 92

1 A song with musical accompaniment for the Sabbath day. אמִזְמ֥וֹר שִׁ֜֗יר לְי֣וֹם הַשַּׁבָּֽת:
2 It is good to give thanks to the Lord, and to sing to Your name, O Most High. בט֗וֹב לְהֹד֥וֹת לַֽיהֹוָ֑ה וּלְזַמֵּ֖ר לְשִׁמְךָ֣ עֶלְיֽוֹן:
3 To declare in the morning Your kindness and Your faith at night. גלְהַגִּ֣יד בַּבֹּ֣קֶר חַסְדֶּ֑ךָ וֶֽ֜אֱמוּנָֽתְךָ֗ בַּלֵּילֽוֹת:
4 Upon a ten-stringed harp and upon a psaltery, with speech upon a harp. דעֲלֵֽי־עָ֖שׂוֹר וַֽעֲלֵי־נָ֑בֶל עֲלֵ֖י הִגָּי֣וֹן בְּכִנּֽוֹר:
5 For You have made me happy O Lord, with Your work; with the work of Your hands I shall exult. הכִּ֚י שִׂמַּחְתַּ֣נִי יְהֹוָ֣ה בְּפָֽעֳלֶ֑ךָ בְּמַֽעֲשֵׂ֖י יָדֶ֣יךָ אֲרַנֵּֽן:
6 How great are Your works, O Lord! Your thoughts are very deep. ומַה־גָּֽדְל֣וּ מַֽעֲשֶׂ֣יךָ יְהֹוָ֑ה מְ֜אֹ֗ד עָֽמְק֥וּ מַחְשְׁבֹתֶֽיךָ:
7 A boorish man does not know; neither does a fool understand this. זאִ֣ישׁ בַּ֖עַר לֹ֥א יֵדָ֑ע וּ֜כְסִ֗יל לֹֽא־יָבִ֥ין אֶת־זֹֽאת:
8 When the wicked flourish like grass, and all workers of violence blossom, only to be destroyed to eternity. חבִּפְרֹ֚חַ רְשָׁעִ֨ים | כְּֽמ֥וֹ עֵ֗שֶׂב וַ֖יָּצִיצוּ כָּל־פֹּ֣עֲלֵי אָ֑וֶן לְהִשָּֽׁמְדָ֥ם עֲדֵי־עַֽד:
9 But You remain on high forever, O Lord. טוְאַתָּ֥ה מָ֜ר֗וֹם לְעֹ֘לָ֥ם יְהֹוָֽה:
10 For behold Your enemies, O Lord, for behold Your enemies will perish; all workers of violence will scatter. יכִּ֚י הִנֵּ֪ה אֹֽיְבֶ֡יךָ | יְֽהוָ֗ה כִּֽי־הִנֵּ֣ה אֹֽיְבֶ֣יךָ יֹאבֵ֑דוּ יִ֜תְפָּֽרְד֗וּ כָּל־פֹּ֥עֲלֵי אָֽוֶן:
11 But You have raised my horn like that of a wild ox; to soak me with fresh oil. יאוַתָּ֣רֶם כִּרְאֵ֣ים קַרְנִ֑י בַּ֜לֹּתִ֗י בְּשֶׁ֣מֶן רַֽעֲנָֽן:
12 My eye has gazed upon those who stare at me [with envy]; when evildoers rise up against me, my ears hear [them]. יבוַתַּבֵּ֥ט עֵינִ֗י בְּשׁ֫וּרָ֥י בַּקָּמִ֣ים עָלַ֣י מְרֵעִ֑ים תִּשְׁמַ֥עְנָה אָזְנָֽי:
13 The righteous one flourishes like the palm; as a cedar in Lebanon he grows. יגצַדִּיק כַּתָּמָ֣ר יִפְרָ֑ח כְּאֶ֖רֶז בַּלְּבָנ֣וֹן יִשְׂגֶּֽה:
14 Planted in the house of the Lord, in the courts of our God they will flourish. ידשְׁתוּלִים בְּבֵ֣ית יְהֹוָ֑ה בְּחַצְר֖וֹת אֱלֹהֵ֣ינוּ יַפְרִֽיחוּ:
15 They will yet grow in old age; fat and fresh will they be. טוע֖וֹד יְנוּב֣וּן בְּשֵׂיבָ֑ה דְּשֵׁנִ֖ים וְרַֽעֲנַנִּ֣ים יִֽהְיֽוּ:
16 To declare that the Lord is upright, my rock in Whom there is no injustice. טזלְהַגִּיד כִּֽי־יָשָׁ֣ר יְהֹוָ֑ה צ֜וּרִ֗י וְֽלֹא־עַוְלָ֥תָה (כתיב עַלָ֥תָה) בּֽוֹ:

Tehillim – Psalms – Chapter 93

1 The Lord has reigned; He has attired Himself with majesty; yea the Lord has attired Himself, He has girded Himself with might. The world also is established that it cannot be moved. איְהֹוָ֣ה מָלָךְ֘ גֵּא֪וּת לָ֫בֵ֥שׁ לָבֵ֣שׁ יְ֖הֹוָה עֹ֥ז הִתְאַזָּ֑ר אַף־תִּכּ֥וֹן תֵּ֜בֵ֗ל בַּל־תִּמּֽוֹט:
2 Your throne is established of old; You are from everlasting. בנָכ֣וֹן כִּסְאֲךָ֣ מֵאָ֑ז מֵ֖עוֹלָ֣ם אָֽתָּה:
3 The rivers have raised, O Lord, the rivers have raised their voice; the rivers have raised their depths. גנָֽשְׂא֚וּ נְהָר֨וֹת | יְהֹוָ֗ה נָֽשְׂא֣וּ נְהָר֣וֹת קוֹלָ֑ם יִשְׂא֖וּ נְהָר֣וֹת דָּכְיָֽם:
4 More than the voices of great waters and more than the mightiest breakers of the sea, is the Lord mighty on high. דמִקֹּל֨וֹת | מַ֚יִם רַבִּ֗ים אַדִּירִ֣ים מִשְׁבְּרֵי־יָ֑ם אַדִּ֖יר בַּמָּר֣וֹם יְהֹוָֽה:
5 Your testimonies are very faithful to Your house, the dwelling of holiness, O Lord, to the length of days. העֵֽדֹתֶ֨יךָ | נֶֽאֶמְנ֬וּ מְאֹ֗ד לְבֵֽיתְךָ֥ נָֽאֲוָה־קֹ֑דֶשׁ יְ֜הֹוָ֗ה לְאֹ֣רֶךְ יָמִֽים:

Tehillim – Psalms – Chapter 94

1 O God of vengeance, O Lord; O God show vengeance. אאֵֽל־נְקָמ֥וֹת יְהֹוָ֑ה אֵ֖ל נְקָמ֣וֹת הוֹפִֽיַע:
2 Exalt Yourself, O Judge of the earth, render to the haughty their recompense. בהִנָּשֵׂא שֹׁפֵ֣ט הָאָ֑רֶץ הָשֵׁ֥ב גְּ֜מ֗וּל עַל־גֵּאִֽים:
3 How long will the wicked, O Lord, how long will the wicked rejoice? געַד־מָתַ֖י רְשָׁעִ֥ים | יְהֹוָ֑ה עַד־מָ֜תַ֗י רְשָׁעִ֥ים יַֽעֲלֹֽזוּ:
4 They spout forth, they speak falsely; all workers of violence boast. דיַבִּ֣יעוּ יְדַבְּר֣וּ עָתָ֑ק יִֽ֜תְאַמְּר֗וּ כָּל־פֹּ֥עֲלֵי אָֽוֶן:
5 Your people, O Lord, they crush, and Your inheritance they afflict. העַמְּךָ֣ יְ֖הֹוָה יְדַכְּא֑וּ וְנַֽחֲלָתְךָ֥ יְעַנּֽוּ:
6 They slay the widow and the stranger, and they murder the orphans. ואַלְמָ֣נָה וְגֵ֣ר יַֽהֲרֹ֑גוּ וִ֖יתוֹמִ֣ים יְרַצֵּֽחוּ:
7 They say, “Yah will not see, nor will the God of Jacob understand.” זוַיֹּ֣אמְרוּ לֹ֥א יִרְאֶה־יָּ֑הּ וְלֹ֥א יָ֜בִ֗ין אֱלֹהֵ֥י יַֽעֲקֹֽב:
8 Understand, [you] most boorish of the people, and [you] fools, when will you gain intelligence? חבִּ֣ינוּ בֹּֽעֲרִ֣ים בָּעָ֑ם וּ֜כְסִילִ֗ים מָתַ֥י תַּשְׂכִּֽילוּ:
9 Will He Who implants the ear not hear or will He Who forms the eye not see? טהֲנֹ֣טַע אֹ֖זֶן הֲלֹ֣א יִשְׁמָ֑ע אִם־יֹ֣צֵ֥ר עַ֜֗יִן הֲלֹ֣א יַבִּֽיט:
10 Will He Who chastises nations not reprove? [He is] the One Who teaches man knowledge. יהֲיֹסֵ֣ר גּ֖וֹיִם הֲלֹ֣א יוֹכִ֑יחַ הַֽמְלַמֵּ֖ד אָדָ֣ם דָּֽעַת:
11 The Lord knows man’s thoughts that they are vanity. יאיְהֹוָ֗ה יֹ֖דֵעַ מַחְשְׁב֣וֹת אָדָ֑ם כִּ֖י הֵ֣מָּה הָֽבֶל:
12 Fortunate is the man whom You, Yah, chastise, and from Your Torah You teach him. יבאַשְׁרֵ֚י הַגֶּ֣בֶר אֲשֶׁר־תְּיַסְּרֶ֣נּוּ יָּ֑הּ וּמִתּוֹרָֽתְךָ֥ תְלַמְּדֶֽנּוּ:
13 To grant him peace from days of evil, while a pit is dug for the wicked. יגלְהַשְׁקִ֣יט ל֖וֹ מִ֣ימֵי רָ֑ע עַד־יִכָּרֶ֖ה לָֽרָשָׁ֣ע שָֽׁחַת:
14 For the Lord will not forsake His people, nor will He desert His inheritance. ידכִּ֚י | לֹֽא־יִטֹּ֣שׁ יְהֹוָ֣ה עַמּ֑וֹ וְ֜נַֽחֲלָת֗וֹ לֹ֣א יַֽעֲזֹֽב:
15 For until righteousness will judgment return, and after it all those upright in heart. טוכִּֽי־עַד־צֶ֖דֶק יָשׁ֣וּב מִשְׁפָּ֑ט וְ֜אַֽחֲרָ֗יו כָּל־יִשְׁרֵי־לֵֽב:
16 Who will rise up for me against evildoers; who will stand up for me against workers of violence? טזמִֽי־יָק֣וּם לִ֖י עִם־מְרֵעִ֑ים מִֽי־יִתְיַצֵּ֥ב לִ֜֗י עִם־פֹּ֥עֲלֵי אָֽוֶן:
17 Had not the Lord been my help, in an instant my soul would rest silent. יזלוּלֵ֣י יְ֖הֹוָה עֶזְרָ֣תָה לִּ֑י כִּמְעַ֓ט | שָֽׁכְנָ֖ה דוּמָ֣ה נַפְשִֽׁי:
18 If I said, “My foot has slipped,” Your kindness, O Lord, supported me. יחאִם־אָ֖מַרְתִּי מָטָ֣ה רַגְלִ֑י חַסְדְּךָ֥ יְ֜הֹוָ֗ה יִסְעָדֵֽנִי:
19 With my many thoughts within me, Your consolations cheered me. יטבְּרֹ֣ב שַׂרְעַפַּ֣י בְּקִרְבִּ֑י תַּ֜נְחוּמֶ֗יךָ יְֽשַֽׁעַשְׁע֥וּ נַפְשִֽׁי:
20 Will the throne of evil join You, which forms iniquity for a statute? כהַיְחָבְרְךָ כִּסֵּ֣א הַוּ֑וֹת יֹצֵ֖ר עָמָ֣ל עֲלֵי־חֹֽק:
21 They gather upon the soul of the righteous and condemn innocent blood. כאיָגוֹדּוּ עַל־נֶ֣פֶשׁ צַדִּ֑יק וְדָ֖ם נָקִ֣י יַרְשִֽׁיעוּ:
22 But the Lord was my fortress, and my God the rock of my refuge. כבוַיְהִ֣י יְהֹוָ֣ה לִ֣י לְמִשְׂגָּ֑ב וֵֽ֜אלֹהַ֗י לְצ֣וּר מַחְסִֽי:
23 And He returned upon them their violence, and for their evil, may He cut them off; may the Lord our God cut them off. כגוַיָּ֚שֶׁב עֲלֵיהֶ֨ם | אֶת־אוֹנָ֗ם וּבְרָֽעָתָ֥ם יַצְמִיתֵ֑ם יַ֜צְמִיתֵ֗ם יְהֹוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ:

Tehillim – Psalms – Chapter 95

1 Come, let us sing praises to the Lord; let us shout to the rock of our salvation. אלְכוּ נְרַֽנְּנָ֣ה לַֽיהֹוָ֑ה נָ֜רִ֗יעָה לְצ֣וּר יִשְׁעֵֽנוּ:
2 Let us greet His presence with thanksgiving; let us shout to Him with songs. בנְקַדְּמָ֣ה פָנָ֣יו בְּתוֹדָ֑ה בִּ֜זְמִר֗וֹת נָרִיעַֽ לֽוֹ:
3 For the Lord is a great God and a great King over all divine powers. גכִּ֚י אֵ֣ל גָּד֣וֹל יְהֹוָ֑ה וּמֶ֥לֶךְ גָּ֜ד֗וֹל עַל־כָּל־אֱלֹהִֽים:
4 In Whose hand are the depths of the earth, and the heights of the mountains are His. דאֲשֶׁ֣ר בְּ֖יָדוֹ מֶחְקְרֵי־אָ֑רֶץ וְתֽוֹעֲפ֖וֹת הָרִ֣ים לֽוֹ:
5 For the sea is His, He made it, and His hands formed the dry land. האֲשֶׁר־ל֣וֹ הַ֖יָּם וְה֣וּא עָשָׂ֑הוּ וְ֜יַבֶּ֗שֶׁת יָדָֽיו יָצָֽרוּ:
6 Come, let us prostrate ourselves and bow; let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker. ובֹּאוּ נִשְׁתַּֽחֲוֶ֣ה וְנִכְרָ֑עָה נִ֜בְרְכָ֗ה לִֽפְנֵי־יְהֹוָ֥ה עֹשֵֽׂנוּ:
7 For He is our God, and we are the people of His pasture and the flocks of His hand, today, if you hearken to His voice. זכִּ֘י ה֚וּא אֱלֹהֵ֗ינוּ וַֽאֲנַ֚חְנוּ עַ֣ם מַ֖רְעִיתוֹ וְצֹ֣אן יָד֑וֹ הַ֜יּ֗וֹם אִם־בְּקֹל֥וֹ תִשְׁמָֽעוּ:
8 Do not harden your heart as [in] Meribah, as [on] the day of Massah in the desert. חאַל־תַּקְשׁ֣וּ לְ֖בַבְכֶם כִּמְרִיבָ֑ה כְּי֥וֹם מַ֜סָּ֗ה בַּמִּדְבָּֽר:
9 When your ancestors tested Me; they tried Me, even though they had seen My work. טאֲשֶׁ֣ר נִ֖סּוּנִי אֲבֽוֹתֵיכֶ֑ם בְּ֜חָנ֗וּנִי גַּם־רָא֥וּ פָֽעֳלִֽי:
10 Forty years I quarreled with a generation, and I said, “They are a people of erring hearts and they did not know My ways.” יאַרְבָּעִ֚ים שָׁנָ֨ה | אָ֘ק֚וּט בְּד֗וֹר וָֽאֹמַ֗ר עַ֚ם תֹּעֵ֣י לֵבָ֣ב הֵ֑ם וְ֜הֵ֗ם לֹא־יָֽדְע֥וּ דְרָכָֽי:
11 For which reason I swore in My wrath, that they would not enter My resting place. יאאֲשֶׁר־נִשְׁבַּ֥עְתִּי בְאַפִּ֑י אִם־יְ֜בֹא֗וּן אֶל־מְנֽוּחָתִֽי:

Tehillim – Psalms – Chapter 96

1 Sing to the Lord a new song, sing to the Lord, all the earth. אשִׁ֣ירוּ לַֽ֖יהֹוָה שִׁ֥יר חָדָ֑שׁ שִׁ֥ירוּ לַֽ֜יהֹוָ֗ה כָּל־הָאָֽרֶץ:
2 Sing to the Lord, bless His name, announce His salvation from day to day. בשִׁ֣ירוּ לַ֖יהֹוָה בָּֽרֲכ֣וּ שְׁמ֑וֹ בַּשְּׂר֥וּ מִיּֽוֹם־לְ֜י֗וֹם יְשֽׁוּעָתֽוֹ:
3 Tell of His glory among the nations, among all peoples His wonders. גסַפְּר֣וּ בַגּוֹיִ֣ם כְּבוֹד֑וֹ בְּכָל־הָֽ֜עַמִּ֗ים נִפְלְאוֹתָֽיו:
4 For the Lord is great and very much praised; He is feared over all divine powers. דכִּ֥י גָ֘ד֚וֹל יְהֹוָ֣ה וּמְהֻלָּ֣ל מְאֹ֑ד נוֹרָ֥א ה֜֗וּא עַל־כָּל־אֱלֹהִֽים:
5 For all the gods of the peoples are nought, but the Lord made the heavens. הכִּ֚י | כָּל־אֱלֹהֵ֣י הָעַמִּ֣ים אֱלִילִ֑ים וַֽ֜יהֹוָ֗ה שָׁמַ֥יִם עָשָֽׂה:
6 [They ascribe] beauty and majesty before Him; might and glory in His sanctuary. והוֹד־וְהָדָ֥ר לְפָנָ֑יו עֹ֥ז וְ֜תִפְאֶ֗רֶת בְּמִקְדָּשֽׁוֹ:
7 Ascribe to the Lord, [you] families of peoples, ascribe to the Lord glory and might. זהָב֣וּ לַֽ֖יהֹוָה מִשְׁפְּח֣וֹת עַמִּ֑ים הָב֥וּ לַֽ֜יהֹוָ֗ה כָּב֥וֹד וָעֹֽז:
8 Ascribe to the Lord the glory due His name; carry an offering and come to His courtyards. חהָב֣וּ לַֽ֖יהֹוָה כְּב֣וֹד שְׁמ֑וֹ שְׂא֥וּ מִ֜נְחָ֗ה וּבֹ֥אוּ לְחַצְרוֹתָֽיו:
9 Prostrate yourselves to the Lord in the majestic sanctuary; quake before Him, all the earth. טהִשְׁתַּֽחֲו֣וּ לַֽ֖יהֹוָה בְּהַדְרַת־קֹ֑דֶשׁ חִ֥ילוּ מִ֜פָּנָ֗יו כָּל־הָאָֽרֶץ:
10 Say among the nations, “The Lord has reigned.” Also the inhabited world will be established so that it will not falter; He will judge peoples with equity. יאִמְר֚וּ בַגּוֹיִ֨ם | יְה֘וָ֚ה מָלָ֗ךְ אַף־תִּכּ֣וֹן תֵּבֵ֣ל בַּל־תִּמּ֑וֹט יָדִ֥ין עַ֜מִּ֗ים בְּמֵֽישָׁרִֽים:
11 The heavens will rejoice and the earth will exult; the sea and the fullness thereof will roar. יאיִשְׂמְח֣וּ הַ֖שָּׁמַיִם וְתָגֵ֣ל הָאָ֑רֶץ יִרְעַ֥ם הַ֜יָּ֗ם וּמְלֹאֽוֹ:
12 The field and all that is therein will jubilate; then all the forest trees will sing praises. יביַֽעֲלֹ֣ז שָׂ֖דַי וְכָל־אֲשֶׁר־בּ֑וֹ אָ֥ז יְ֜רַנְּנ֗וּ כָּל־עֲצֵי־יָֽעַר:
13 Before the Lord, for He has come, for He has come to judge the earth; He will judge the inhabited world justly and the peoples with His faith. יגלִפְנֵ֚י יְהֹוָ֨ה | כִּ֬י בָ֗א כִּ֥י בָא֘ לִשְׁפֹּ֪ט הָ֫אָ֥רֶץ יִשְׁפֹּט־תֵּבֵ֥ל בְּצֶ֑דֶק וְ֜עַמִּ֗ים בֶּאֱמֽוּנָתֽוֹ:

Tehillim – Psalms – Chapter 97

1 The Lord has reigned, the earth will exult; many islands will rejoice. איְהֹוָ֣ה מָ֖לָךְ תָּגֵ֣ל הָאָ֑רֶץ יִ֜שְׂמְח֗וּ אִיִּ֥ים רַבִּֽים:
2 Cloud and thick darkness are around Him; righteousness and judgment are the foundation of His throne. בעָנָ֣ן וַֽעֲרָפֶ֣ל סְבִיבָ֑יו צֶ֥דֶק וּ֜מִשְׁפָּ֗ט מְכ֣וֹן כִּסְאֽוֹ:
3 Fire will go before Him and will burn His enemies all around. גאֵשׁ לְפָנָ֣יו תֵּלֵ֑ךְ וּתְ֜לַהֵ֗ט סָבִ֥יב צָרָֽיו:
4 His lightnings illuminated the world; the earth saw and quaked. דהֵאִ֣ירוּ בְרָקָ֣יו תֵּבֵ֑ל רָֽאֲתָ֖ה וַתָּחֵ֣ל הָאָֽרֶץ:
5 Mountains melted like wax from before the Lord, from before the Master of all the earth. ההָרִ֗ים כַּדּוֹנַ֗ג נָ֖מַסּוּ מִלִּפְנֵ֣י יְהֹוָ֑ה מִ֜לִּפְנֵ֗י אֲד֣וֹן כָּל־הָאָֽרֶץ:
6 The heavens told His righteousness, and all the earth saw His glory. והִגִּ֣ידוּ הַשָּׁמַ֣יִם צִדְק֑וֹ וְרָא֖וּ כָל־הָֽעַמִּ֣ים כְּבוֹדֽוֹ:
7 All worshippers of graven images will be ashamed, yea those who boast of idols; all gods, prostrate yourselves before Him. זיֵבֹ֚֗שׁוּ | כָּל־עֹ֥בְדֵי פֶ֗סֶל הַמִּתְהַלְלִ֥ים בָּֽאֱלִילִ֑ים הִשְׁתַּֽחֲווּ־ל֜֗וֹ כָּל־אֱלֹהִֽים:
8 Zion heard and rejoiced, and the daughters of Judah exulted, because of Your judgments, O Lord. חשָֽׁמְעָ֚ה וַתִּשְׂמַ֨ח | צִיּ֗וֹן וַ֖תָּגֵלְנָה בְּנ֣וֹת יְהוּדָ֑ה לְמַ֖עַן מִשְׁפָּטֶ֣יךָ יְהֹוָֽה:
9 For You, O Lord, are Most High above all the earth; You are very much exalted above all gods. טכִּֽי־אַתָּ֚ה יְהֹוָ֗ה עֶלְי֥וֹן עַל־כָּל־הָאָ֑רֶץ מְאֹ֥ד נַֽ֜עֲלֵ֗יתָ עַל־כָּל־אֱלֹהִֽים:
10 You who love the Lord, hate evil; He watches the souls of His pious ones, He rescues them from the hands of the wicked. יאֹֽהֲבֵ֥י יְהֹוָ֗ה שִׂנְא֫וּ רָ֥ע שֹׁ֖מֵר נַפְשׁ֣וֹת חֲסִידָ֑יו מִיַּ֥ד רְ֜שָׁעִ֗ים יַצִּילֵֽם:
11 A light is sown for the righteous, and for the upright of heart, joy. יאא֖וֹר זָרֻ֣עַ לַצַּדִּ֑יק וּלְיִשְׁרֵי־לֵ֥ב שִׂמְחָֽה:
12 Rejoice, you righteous, with the Lord, and give thanks to His holy name. יבשִׂמְח֣וּ צַ֖דִּיקִים בַּֽיהֹוָ֑ה וְ֜הוֹד֗וּ לְזֵ֣כֶר קָדְשֽׁוֹ:

Tehillim – Psalms – Chapter 98

1 A song. Sing to the Lord a new song, for He performed wonders; His right hand and His holy arm have saved Him. אמִזְמ֡וֹר שִׁ֚ירוּ לַֽיהֹוָ֨ה | שִׁ֥יר חָדָ֗שׁ כִּֽי־נִפְלָא֥וֹת עָשָׂ֑ה הוֹשִֽׁיעָה־לּ֥וֹ יְ֜מִינ֗וֹ וּזְר֥וֹעַ קָדְשֽׁוֹ:
2 The Lord has made known His salvation; to the eyes of the nations He has revealed His righteousness. בהוֹדִ֣יעַ יְ֖הֹוָה יְשֽׁוּעָת֑וֹ לְעֵינֵ֥י הַ֜גּוֹיִ֗ם גִּלָּ֥ה צִדְקָתֽוֹ:
3 He remembered His kindness and His faith to the house of Israel; all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God. גזָ֘כַ֚ר חַסְדּ֨וֹ | וֶֽאֱמֽוּנָתוֹ֘ לְבֵ֪ית יִשְׂרָ֫אֵ֥ל רָא֥וּ כָל־אַפְסֵי־אָ֑רֶץ אֵ֜֗ת יְשׁוּעַ֥ת אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ:
4 Shout to the Lord, all the earth, open [your mouths] and sing praises and play music. דהָרִ֣יעוּ לַֽ֖יהֹוָה כָּל־הָאָ֑רֶץ פִּצְח֖וּ וְרַנְּנ֣וּ וְזַמֵּֽרוּ:
5 Play to the Lord with a harp, with a harp and a voice of song. הזַמְּר֣וּ לַֽיהֹוָ֣ה בְּכִנּ֑וֹר בְּ֜כִנּ֗וֹר וְק֣וֹל זִמְרָֽה:
6 With trumpets and the sound of a shofar, raise your voices before the King, the Lord. ובַּֽחֲצֹֽצְרוֹת וְק֣וֹל שׁוֹפָ֑ר הָ֜רִ֗יעוּ לִפְנֵ֚י | הַמֶּ֬לֶךְ יְהֹוָֽה:
7 The sea and the fullness thereof will roar, the inhabited world and the inhabitants thereof. זיִרְעַ֣ם הַ֖יָּם וּמְלֹא֑וֹ תֵּ֜בֵ֗ל וְי֣שְׁבֵי בָֽהּ:
8 Rivers will clap hands; together mountains will sing praises. חנְהָר֥וֹת יִמְחֲאוּ־כָ֑ף יַ֜֗חַד הָרִ֥ים יְרַנֵּֽנוּ:
9 Before the Lord, for He has come to judge the earth; He will judge the inhabited world justly and the peoples with equity. טלִֽפְ֥נֵי־יְהֹוָ֗ה כִּ֥י בָא֘ לִשְׁפֹּ֪ט הָ֫אָ֥רֶץ יִשְׁפֹּט־תֵּבֵ֥ל בְּצֶ֑דֶק וְ֜עַמִּ֗ים בְּמֵֽישָׁרִֽים:

Tehillim – Psalms – Chapter 99

1 The Lord has reigned, nations will quake; [before] Him Who dwells between the cherubim, the earth will falter. איְהֹוָ֣ה מָ֖לָךְ יִרְגְּז֣וּ עַמִּ֑ים יֹשֵׁ֥ב כְּ֜רוּבִ֗ים תָּנ֥וּט הָאָֽרֶץ:
2 The Lord is great in Zion, and He is high over all the peoples. ביְהֹוָה בְּצִיּ֣וֹן גָּד֑וֹל וְרָ֥ם ה֜֗וּא עַל־כָּל־הָֽעַמִּֽים:
3 They will acknowledge Your great and awesome name, [that] it is holy, גיוֹד֣וּ שִׁ֖מְךָ גָּד֥וֹל וְנוֹרָ֗א קָד֥וֹשׁ הֽוּא:
4 And the might of the King who loves judgment; You founded equity; judgment and righteousness You made in Jacob. דוְעֹ֥ז מֶלֶךְ֘ מִשְׁפָּ֪ט אָ֫הֵ֥ב אַ֖תָּה כּוֹנַ֣נְתָּ מֵּֽישָׁרִ֑ים מִשְׁפָּ֥ט וּ֜צְדָקָ֗ה בְּיַֽעֲקֹ֚ב | אַתָּ֬ה עָשִֽׂיתָ:
5 Exalt the Lord our God and prostrate yourselves to His footstool, it is holy. הרֽוֹמְמ֡וּ יְהֹ֘וָ֚ה אֱלֹהֵ֗ינוּ וְ֖הִֽשְׁתַּֽחֲווּ לַֽהֲדֹ֥ם רַגְלָ֗יו קָד֥וֹשׁ הֽוּא:
6 Moses and Aaron among His priests, and Samuel among those who call in His name, would call out to the Lord, and He would answer them. ומ֘שֶׁ֚ה וְאַֽהֲרֹ֨ן | בְּכֹֽהֲנָ֗יו וּ֖שְׁמוּאֵל בְּקֹֽרְאֵ֣י שְׁמ֑וֹ קֹרִ֥אים אֶל־יְ֜הֹוָ֗ה וְה֣וּא יַֽעֲנֵֽם:
7 In a pillar of cloud He would speak to them; they kept His testimonies and the statutes He gave them. זבְּעַמּ֣וּד עָ֖נָן יְדַבֵּ֣ר אֲלֵיהֶ֑ם שָֽׁמְר֥וּ עֵֽ֜דֹתָ֗יו וְחֹ֣ק נָֽתַן־לָֽמוֹ:
8 O Lord, Our God, You answered them; You were a forgiving God for them but vengeful for their misdeeds. חיְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֵינוּ֘ אַתָּ֪ה עֲנִ֫יתָ֥ם אֵ֣ל נֹ֖שֵׂא הָיִ֣יתָ לָהֶ֑ם וְ֜נֹקֵ֗ם עַל־עֲלִֽילוֹתָֽם:
9 Exalt the Lord our God and prostrate yourselves to the mount of His sanctuary, for the Lord our God is holy. טרֽוֹמְמ֡וּ יְ֘הֹוָ֚ה אֱלֹהֵ֗ינוּ וְ֖הִֽשְׁתַּֽחֲווּ לְהַ֣ר קָדְשׁ֑וֹ כִּ֥י קָ֜ד֗וֹשׁ יְהֹוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֵֽינוּ:

Tehillim – Psalms – Chapter 100

1 A song for a thanksgiving offering. Shout to the Lord, all the earth. אמִזְמ֥וֹר לְתוֹדָ֑ה הָרִֽיעוּ לַֽ֜יהֹוָ֗ה כָּל־הָאָֽרֶץ:
2 Serve the Lord with joy, come before Him with praise. בעִבְד֣וּ אֶת־יְהֹוָ֣ה בְּשִׂמְחָ֑ה בֹּ֥אוּ לְ֜פָנָ֗יו בִּרְנָנָֽה:
3 Know that the Lord is God; He made us and we are His, people and the flock of His pasture. גדְּע֗וּ כִּ֥י יְהֹוָה֘ ה֚וּא אֱלֹ֫הִ֥ים ה֣וּא עָ֖שָׂנוּ וְל֣וֹ (כתיב וְלֹ֣א) אֲנַ֑חְנוּ עַ֜מּ֗וֹ וְצֹ֣אן מַרְעִיתֽוֹ:
4 Come into His gates with thanksgiving, [into] His courtyards with praise; give thanks to Him, bless His name. דבֹּ֚אוּ שְׁעָרָ֨יו | בְּתוֹדָ֗ה חֲצֵֽרֹתָ֥יו בִּתְהִלָּ֑ה ה֥וֹדוּ ל֜֗וֹ בָּֽרְכ֥וּ שְׁמֽוֹ:
5 For the Lord is good; His kindness is forever, and until generation after generation is His faith. הכִּי־ט֣וֹב יְ֖הֹוָה לְעוֹלָ֣ם חַסְדּ֑וֹ וְעַד־דֹּ֥ר וָ֜דֹ֗ר אֱמֽוּנָתֽוֹ:

Tehillim – Psalms – Chapter 101

1 Of David, a song. I shall sing of kindness and judgment; to You, O Lord, I shall sing. אלְדָוִ֗ד מִ֫זְמ֥וֹר חֶֽסֶד־וּמִשְׁפָּ֥ט אָשִׁ֑ירָה לְךָ֖ יְהֹוָ֣ה אֲזַמֵּֽרָה:
2 I shall concern myself with the way of integrity. When will it come to me? I shall walk with the innocence of my heart within my house. באַשְׂכִּ֚ילָה | בְּדֶ֬רֶךְ תָּמִ֗ים מָ֖תַי תָּב֣וֹא אֵלָ֑י אֶתְהַלֵּ֥ךְ בְּתָם־לְ֜בָבִ֗י בְּקֶ֣רֶב בֵּיתִֽי:
3 I do not place before my eyes any base thing; I hate doing wayward deeds; it does not cling to me. גלֹֽא־אָשִׁ֨ית | לְנֶ֥גֶד עֵינַ֗י דְּֽבַר־בְּלִ֫יָּ֥עַל עֲשֹֽׂה־סֵטִ֥ים שָׂנֵ֑אתִי לֹ֖א יִדְבַּ֣ק בִּֽי:
4 A perverse heart turns away from me; I know no evil. דלֵבָ֣ב עִ֖קֵּשׁ יָס֣וּר מִמֶּ֑נִּי רָ֜֗ע לֹ֣א אֵדָֽע:
5 He who slanders his neighbor in secret, I cut him down; one whose eyes are raised up high and his heart is expansive, I cannot tolerate him. המְלָשְׁנִ֬י (כתיב מְלָושְׁנִ֬י) בַסֵּ֨תֶר | רֵעֵהוּ֘ אוֹת֪וֹ אַצְ֫מִ֥ית גְּֽבַהּ־עֵ֖ינַיִם וּרְחַ֣ב לֵבָ֑ב א֜וֹת֗וֹ לֹ֣א אוּכָֽל:
6 My eyes are upon the faithful of the land to dwell with me; he who goes on the way of the innocent, he will serve me. ועֵינַ֚י | בְּנֶֽאֶמְנֵי־אֶרֶץ֘ לָשֶׁ֪בֶת עִ֫מָּדִ֥י הֹלֵ֣ךְ בְּדֶ֣רֶךְ תָּמִ֑ים ה֜֗וּא יְשָֽׁרְתֵֽנִי:
7 He will not dwell within my house; he who practices deceit, who speaks lies, will not be established before my eyes. זלֹֽא־יֵשֵׁ֨ב | בְּקֶ֣רֶב בֵּיתִי֘ עֹשֵׂ֪ה רְמִ֫יָּ֥ה דֹּבֵ֖ר שְׁקָרִ֑ים לֹֽא־יִ֜כּ֗וֹן לְנֶ֥גֶד עֵינָֽי:
8 Betimes I cut down all the wicked of the earth; to cut down from the city of the Lord all workers of violence. חלַבְּקָרִ֗ים אַצְמִ֥ית כָּל־רִשְׁעֵי־אָ֑רֶץ לְהַכְרִ֥ית מֵֽעִיר־יְ֜הֹוָ֗ה כָּל־פֹּ֥עֲלֵי אָֽוֶן:

Tehillim – Psalms – Chapter 35

1 Of David. O Lord, strive with those who strive against me, battle my foes. אלְדָוִ֨ד | רִיבָ֣ה יְ֖הֹוָה אֶת־יְרִיבַ֑י לְ֜חַ֗ם אֶת־לֹֽחֲמָֽי:
2 Grasp a shield and encircling armor, and rise to my assistance. בהַֽחֲזֵ֣ק מָגֵ֣ן וְצִנָּ֑ה וְ֜ק֗וּמָה בְּעֶזְרָתִֽי:
3 And arm Yourself with a spear and bar the way before my pursuers; say to my soul, “I am your salvation.” גוְהָ֘רֵ֚ק חֲנִ֣ית וּ֖סְגֹר לִקְרַ֣את רֹֽדְפָ֑י אֱמֹ֥ר לְ֜נַפְשִׁ֗י יְשֻֽׁעָתֵ֥ךְ אָֽנִי:
4 May those who seek my life be shamed and embarrassed; may those who plan my harm draw backward and be abashed. דיֵבֹ֣שׁוּ וְיִכָּֽלְמוּ֘ מְבַקְשֵׁ֪י נַ֫פְשִׁ֥י יִסֹּ֣גוּ אָח֣וֹר וְיַחְפְּר֑וּ חֹ֜שְׁבֵ֗י רָֽעָתִֽי:
5 Let them be as chaff before the wind, with an angel of the Lord thrusting them. היִֽהְי֗וּ כְּמֹ֥ץ לִפְנֵי־ר֑וּחַ וּמַלְאַ֖ךְ יְהֹוָ֣ה דֹּחֶֽה:
6 May their way be dark and slippery, with an angel of the Lord pursuing them. ויְֽהִי־דַרְכָּ֗ם חֹ֥שֶׁךְ וַֽחֲלַקְלַקֹּ֑ת וּמַלְאַ֥ךְ יְ֜הֹוָ֗ה רֹֽדְפָֽם:
7 For without cause they have hidden for me a pit, yea a net; without cause they have dug it for my soul. זכִּֽי־חִנָּ֣ם טָֽמְנוּ־לִ֖י שַׁ֣חַת רִשְׁתָּ֑ם חִ֜נָּ֗ם חָֽפְר֥וּ לְנַפְשִֽׁי:
8May darkness that he does not know come upon him, and his net that he hid shall ensnare him; in the darkness may he fall into it. חתְּבוֹאֵ֣הוּ שׁוֹאָה֘ לֹ֪א יֵ֫דָ֥ע וְרִשְׁתּ֣וֹ אֲשֶׁר־טָמַ֣ן תִּלְכְּד֑וֹ בְּ֜שׁוֹאָ֗ה יִפָּל־בָּֽהּ:
9 And my soul shall exult in the Lord; it shall rejoice in His salvation. טוְנַפְשִׁי תָּגִ֣יל בַּֽיהֹוָ֑ה תָּ֜שִׂישׂ בִּישֽׁוּעָתֽוֹ:
10 All my bones shall say, O Lord, who is like You, Who saves a poor man from one stronger than he and a poor man and a needy one from one who robs him. יכָּ֥ל עַצְמֹתַ֨י | תֹּאמַרְנָה֘ יְהֹוָ֗ה מִ֥י כָ֫מ֥וֹךָ מַצִּ֣יל עָ֖נִי מֵֽחָזָ֣ק מִמֶּ֑נּוּ וְעָנִ֥י וְ֜אֶבְי֗וֹן מִגֹּֽזְלֽוֹ:
11 False witnesses rise up; they ask me of things that I know not. יאיְקוּמוּן עֵדֵ֣י חָמָ֑ס אֲשֶׁ֥ר לֹֽא־יָ֜דַ֗עְתִּי יִשְׁאָלֽוּנִי:
12 They recompense me with evil instead of good, death to my soul. יביְשַׁלְּמ֣וּנִי רָ֖עָה תַּ֥חַת טוֹבָ֗ה שְׁכ֣וֹל לְנַפְשִֽׁי:
13 But, as for me, when they were ill, my attire was sackcloth; I afflicted myself with fasting, and may my prayer return upon my bosom. יגוַֽאֲנִ֚י | בַּֽחֲלוֹתָ֡ם לְב֬וּשִׁי שָׂ֗ק עִנֵּ֣יתִי בַצּ֣וֹם נַפְשִׁ֑י וּ֜תְפִלָּתִ֗י עַל־חֵיקִ֥י תָשֽׁוּב:
14 I walked about as though it were a friend or as though it were my own brother; I was bowed with gloom as the mourning of a mother. ידכְּרֵ֣עַ כְּאָח־לִ֖י הִתְהַלָּ֑כְתִּי כַּֽאֲבֶל־אֵ֜֗ם קֹדֵ֥ר שַׁחֹֽתִי:
15 And, when I limped, they rejoiced and gathered; lame people gathered about me, [why,] I do not know. Were they to tear, they would not draw blood. טווּבְצַלְעִי֘ שָֽׂמְח֪וּ וְנֶֽאֱ֫סָ֥פוּ נֶֽאֶסְפ֬וּ עָלַ֣י נֵ֖כִים וְלֹ֣א יָדַ֑עְתִּי קָֽרְע֥וּ וְלֹא־דָֽמּוּ:
16 Because of the flattery of scorn for food, they gnash their teeth at me. טזבְּחַנְפֵי לַֽעֲגֵ֣י מָע֑וֹג חָרֹ֖ק עָלַ֣י שִׁנֵּֽימוֹ:
17 O Lord, how long will You look on? Return my soul from their darkness, my only one from young lions. יזאֲדֹנָי֘ כַּמָּ֪ה תִ֫רְאֶ֥ה הָשִׁ֣יבָה נַ֖פְשִׁי מִשֹּֽׁאֵיהֶ֑ם מִ֜כְּפִירִ֗ים יְחִֽידָתִֽי:
18 I will thank You in a large assembly; in a mighty people I will praise You. יחא֣וֹדְךָ בְּקָהָ֣ל רָ֑ב בְּעַ֖ם עָצ֣וּם אֲהַֽלְלֶֽךָּ:
19 Let them not rejoice over me, those who are my enemies for an unjust cause, neither shall those who hate me for nought wink their eyes. יטאַל־יִשְׂמְחוּ־לִ֣י אֹֽיְבַ֣י שֶׁ֑קֶר שֽׂנְאַ֥י חִ֜נָּ֗ם יִקְרְצוּ־עָֽיִן:
20 For they do not speak peace, and against the crushed people of the earth they think words of deceit. ככִּ֚י לֹ֥א שָׁל֗וֹם יְ֫דַבֵּ֥רוּ וְעַ֥ל רִגְעֵי־אֶ֑רֶץ דִּבְרֵ֥י מִ֜רְמוֹת יַֽחֲשֹׁבֽוּן:
21 And they opened their mouth wide against me and they said, “Aha! Aha! Our eyes have seen [what we desired].” כאוַיַּרְחִ֥יבוּ עָלַ֗י פִּ֫יהֶ֥ם אָֽ֖מְרוּ הֶאָ֣ח | הֶאָ֑ח רָֽ֘אֲתָ֥ה עֵינֵֽינוּ:
22 You saw, O Lord, do not be silent; O Lord, do not distance Yourself from me. כברָאִ֣יתָה יְ֖הֹוָה אַל־תֶּֽחֱרַ֑שׁ אֲ֜דֹנָ֗י אַל־תִּרְחַ֥ק מִמֶּֽנִּי:
23 Arouse Yourself and awaken to my judgment, my God and my Lord, to my cause. כגהָעִ֣ירָה וְ֖הָקִיצָה לְמִשְׁפָּטִ֑י אֱלֹהַ֖י וַֽאדֹנָ֣י לְרִיבִֽי:
24 Judge me according to Your righteousness, O Lord, my God, and let them not rejoice over me. כדשָׁפְטֵ֣נִי כְ֖צִדְקְךָ יְהֹוָ֥ה אֱ֜לֹהָ֗י וְאַל־יִשְׂמְחוּ־לִֽי:
25 Let them not say in their hearts, “Our soul rejoices.” Let them not say, “We have swallowed him up.” כהאַל־יֹֽאמְר֣וּ בְ֖לִבָּם הֶאָ֣ח נַפְשֵׁ֑נוּ אַל־יֹֽ֜אמְר֗וּ בִּלַּֽעֲנֽוּהוּ:
26 Let them be ashamed and abashed together, those who rejoice at my misfortune; let them be clothed in shame and disgrace, those who raise themselves haughtily over me. כויֵ֘בֹ֚שׁוּ וְיַחְפְּר֨וּ | יַחְדָּו֘ שְׂמֵחֵ֪י רָעָ֫תִ֥י יִלְבְּשׁוּ־בֹ֥שֶׁת וּכְלִמָּ֑ה הַמַּגְדִּילִ֥ים עָלָֽי:
27 Let those who desire my vindication sing praises and rejoice, and let them constantly say, “May the Lord, Who desires the peace of His servant, be magnified.” כזיָרֹ֣נּוּ וְיִשְׂמְחוּ֘ חֲפֵצֵ֪י צִ֫דְקִ֥י וְיֹֽאמְר֣וּ תָ֖מִיד יִגְדַּ֣ל יְהֹוָ֑ה הֶֽ֜חָפֵ֗ץ שְׁל֣וֹם עַבְדּֽוֹ:
28 And my tongue shall utter Your righteousness, Your praise all day long. כחוּלְשׁוֹנִי תֶּהְגֶּ֣ה צִדְקֶ֑ךָ כָּל־הַ֜יּוֹם תְּהִלָּתֶֽךָ:
