Éxodo 35:1-40:38

Moshe reúne al pueblo de Israel y les reitera el mandato de observar el Shabat. Luego les transmite el mandato Divino de construir el Mishkán (Tabernáculo).

El pueblo dona los materiales requeridos en abundancia, trayendo oro, plata, cobre, lana teñida de colores azul, púrpura y rojo, pelo de cabra, lino, pieles de animales, madera, aceite de oliva, hierbas y piedras preciosas. Moshe se ve forzado a pedirles que dejen de traer.

Un grupo de artesanos de “corazones sabios” construyen el Mishkán (…)

Moses assembles the people of Israel and reiterates to them the commandment to observe the Shabbat. He then conveys G‑d’s instructions regarding the making of the Mishkan(Tabernacle). The people donate the required materials in abundance, bringing gold, silver and copper; blue-, purple- and red-dyed wool; goat hair, spun linen, animal skins, wood, olive oil, herbs and precious stones. Moses has to tell them to stop giving.
