El 1 de Tishrei —el sexto día de la creación —”Di-s dijo: ‘Hagamos un hombre a nuestra imagen, a nuestra semejanza; y que domine sobre los peces del mar, y sobre las aves del aire, y sobre los animales, y sobre toda la tierra…'” (Génesis 1:26). “Di-s formó al hombre de polvo de la tierra, e insufló en sus narices el aliento de vida; y el hombre se convirtió en un alma viviente” (Ibíd. 2:7). “Y Di-s tomó al hombre y lo puso en el Jardín del Edén para trabajarlo y cuidarlo” (2:15). “Y Di-s dijo: ‘No es bueno que el hombre esté solo. Le haré una ayuda frente a él’… Di-s hizo que un profundo sueño cayera sobre el hombre, y él durmió; y Él tomó una de sus costillas, y cerró la carne en su lugar. Y Di-s formó de la costilla que había tomado del hombre una mujer, y la trajo al hombre. Y el hombre dijo: ‘Esta es hueso de mis huesos y carne de mi carne, ella será llamada Mujer, pues ha sido tomada del Hombre’. Por lo tanto el hombre dejará a su padre y a su madre, y se unirá a su esposa; y ellos se convertirán en una sola carne” (2:18-24).

On Tishrei 1 — the sixth day of creation — “G-d said: ‘Let us make Man in Our image, after Our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth…'” (Genesis 1:26). “G-d formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul” (ibid., 2:7). “And G-d took the man and placed him in the Garden of Eden, to work it and to keep it” (2:15). “And G-d said: ‘It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helpmeet opposite him’ … G-d caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and he slept; and He took one of his sides, and closed up the flesh in its place. And G-d built the side which He had taken from the man into a woman, and brought her to the man. And the man said: ‘This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.’ Therefore a man leaves his father and his mother, and cleaves to his wife; and they become one flesh” (2:18-24).

The ancient Book of Formation teaches that there is more to the universe than time and space. There is a soul.
Whatever is found in the universe’s soul is found somewhere in its space. And whatever is found in space, is found in time.
In the soul of the universe there is a consciousness from which all consciousness extends.
In space, there is the Land of Israel, a space from where all space is nurtured.
In time, there is Rosh Hashanah, a time from which all time is renewed.
It is not just a starting point, but a head, a new beginning of time, when a new consciousness enters our universe. As the head governs the body, so all that will transpire in the coming year is first conceived in these two days.
El antiguo Libro de la Formación enseña que hay más en el universo que el tiempo y el espacio. Hay un alma.
Todo lo que se encuentra en el alma del universo se encuentra en algún lugar de su espacio. Y todo lo que se encuentra en el espacio, se encuentra en el tiempo.
En el alma del universo hay una conciencia desde la que se extiende toda la conciencia.
En el espacio, está la Tierra de Israel, un espacio desde donde se nutre todo el espacio.
Con el tiempo, está Rosh Hashaná, un tiempo desde el que se renueva todo el tiempo.
No es solo un punto de partida, sino una cabeza, un nuevo comienzo del tiempo, cuando una nueva conciencia entra en nuestro universo. Así como la cabeza gobierna el cuerpo, todo lo que sucederá en el próximo año se concibe por primera vez en estos dos días.
