I will bless you;
I will make your name great;
You will be a blessing;
I will bless those who bless you;
‘I will curse those who curse you;
All the families of the earth will be blessed thanks to the pact that you will have with them;
Shemot – Exodus – Chapter 3
13 Y Moisés dijo a Dios: He aquí, yo vengo a los hijos de Israel, y les digo: “El Dios de tus padres me ha enviado a ti”, y ellos me dicen: “¿Cómo se llama?”. ¿qué les diré? “
14 Dios le dijo a Moisés: “Ehyeh asher ehyeh (seré lo que seré)”, y dijo: “Así dirás a los hijos de Israel: ‘Ehyeh (seré) me ha enviado a ti'”.
15 Y Dios dijo además a Moisés: “Así dirás a los hijos de Israel:” El Señor, Dios de tus patriarcas, Dios de Abraham, Dios de Isaac y Dios de Jacob, me ha enviado a ti. ” Este es Mi nombre para siempre, y así es como debería ser mencionado en todas las generaciones.

| 14 God said to Moses, “Ehyeh asher ehyeh (I will be what I will be),” and He said, “So shall you say to the children of Israel, ‘Ehyeh (I will be) has sent me to you.'” | ידוַיֹּ֤אמֶר אֱלֹהִים֙ אֶל־משֶׁ֔ה אֶֽהְיֶ֖ה אֲשֶׁ֣ר אֶֽהְיֶ֑ה וַיֹּ֗אמֶר כֹּ֤ה תֹאמַר֙ לִבְנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אֶֽהְיֶ֖ה שְׁלָחַ֥נִי אֲלֵיכֶֽם: | |
| 15 And God said further to Moses, “So shall you say to the children of Israel, ‘The Lord God of your forefathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you.’ This is My name forever, and this is how I should be mentioned in every generation. | טווַיֹּ֩אמֶר֩ ע֨וֹד אֱלֹהִ֜ים אֶל־משֶׁ֗ה כֹּ֣ה תֹאמַר֘ אֶל־בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵל֒ יְהֹוָ֞ה אֱלֹהֵ֣י אֲבֹֽתֵיכֶ֗ם אֱלֹהֵ֨י אַבְרָהָ֜ם אֱלֹהֵ֥י יִצְחָ֛ק וֵֽאלֹהֵ֥י יַֽעֲקֹ֖ב שְׁלָחַ֣נִי אֲלֵיכֶ֑ם זֶה־שְּׁמִ֣י לְעֹלָ֔ם וְזֶ֥ה זִכְרִ֖י לְדֹ֥ר דֹּֽר: |
Lech Lecha in a Nutshell
G‑d speaks to Abram, commanding him, “Go from your land, from your birthplace and from your father’s house, to the land which I will show you.” There, G‑d says, he will be made into a great nation. Abram and his wife, Sarai, accompanied by his nephew Lot, journey to the land of Canaan, where Abram builds an altar and continues to spread the message of a one G‑d.

Resumen de la Parashá
Génesis 12.1-17-27
Di-s habla con Avram, diciéndole “Vete de tu tierra, de tu lugar de nacimiento y de la casa de tu padre, a la tierra que te mostraré”. Allí, dice Di-s, hará de Avram una gran nación. Avram y su mujer Sarai, acompañados por su sobrino Lot, viajan a la Tierra de Cnaan, donde Avram construye un altar y continúa difundiendo el mensaje de Di-s.
