| 1 Then Moses and the children of Israel sang this song to the Lord, and they spoke, saying, I will sing to the Lord, for very exalted is He; a horse and its rider He cast into the sea. | אאָ֣ז יָשִֽׁיר־משֶׁה֩ וּבְנֵ֨י יִשְׂרָאֵ֜ל אֶת־הַשִּׁירָ֤ה הַזֹּאת֙ לַֽיהֹוָ֔ה וַיֹּֽאמְר֖וּ לֵאמֹ֑ר אָשִׁ֤ירָה לַּֽיהֹוָה֙ כִּֽי־גָאֹ֣ה גָּאָ֔ה ס֥וּס וְרֹֽכְב֖וֹ רָמָ֥ה בַיָּֽם: | |
| 2 The Eternal’s strength and His vengeance were my salvation; this is my God, and I will make Him a habitation, the God of my father, and I will ascribe to Him exaltation. | בעָזִּ֤י וְזִמְרָת֙ יָ֔הּ וַֽיְהִי־לִ֖י לִֽישׁוּעָ֑ה זֶ֤ה אֵלִי֙ וְאַנְוֵ֔הוּ אֱלֹהֵ֥י אָבִ֖י וַֽאֲרֹֽמְמֶֽנְהוּ: | |
| 3 The Lord is a Master of war; the Lord is His Name. | גיְהֹוָ֖ה אִ֣ישׁ מִלְחָמָ֑ה יְהֹוָ֖ה שְׁמֽוֹ: | |
| 4Pharaoh’s chariots and his army He cast into the sea, and the elite of his officers sank in the Red Sea. | דמַרְכְּבֹ֥ת פַּרְעֹ֛ה וְחֵיל֖וֹ יָרָ֣ה בַיָּ֑ם וּמִבְחַ֥ר שָֽׁלִשָׁ֖יו טֻבְּע֥וּ בְיַם־סֽוּף: | |
| 5 The depths covered them; they descended into the depths like a stone. | התְּהֹמֹ֖ת יְכַסְיֻ֑מוּ יָֽרְד֥וּ בִמְצוֹלֹ֖ת כְּמוֹ־אָֽבֶן: | |
| 6 Your right hand, O Lord, is most powerful; Your right hand, O Lord, crushes the foe. | ויְמִֽינְךָ֣ יְהֹוָ֔ה נֶאְדָּרִ֖י בַּכֹּ֑חַ יְמִֽינְךָ֥ יְהֹוָ֖ה תִּרְעַ֥ץ אוֹיֵֽב: | |
| 7 And with Your great pride You tear down those who rise up against You; You send forth Your burning wrath; it devours them like straw. | זוּבְרֹ֥ב גְּאֽוֹנְךָ֖ תַּֽהֲרֹ֣ס קָמֶ֑יךָ תְּשַׁלַּח֙ חֲרֹ֣נְךָ֔ יֹֽאכְלֵ֖מוֹ כַּקַּֽשׁ: | |
| 8 And with the breath of Your nostrils the waters were heaped up; the running water stood erect like a wall; the depths congealed in the heart of the sea. | חוּבְר֤וּחַ אַפֶּ֨יךָ֙ נֶ֣עֶרְמוּ מַ֔יִם נִצְּב֥וּ כְמוֹ־נֵ֖ד נֹֽזְלִ֑ים קָֽפְא֥וּ תְהֹמֹ֖ת בְּלֶב־יָֽם: | |
| 9 [Because] the enemy said, I will pursue, I will overtake, I will share the booty; my desire will be filled from them; I will draw my sword, my hand will impoverish them. | טאָמַ֥ר אוֹיֵ֛ב אֶרְדֹּ֥ף אַשִּׂ֖יג אֲחַלֵּ֣ק שָׁלָ֑ל תִּמְלָאֵ֣מוֹ נַפְשִׁ֔י אָרִ֣יק חַרְבִּ֔י תּֽוֹרִישֵׁ֖מוֹ יָדִֽי: | |
| 10 You blew with Your wind, the sea covered them; they sank like lead in the powerful waters. | ינָשַׁ֥פְתָּ בְרֽוּחֲךָ֖ כִּסָּ֣מוֹ יָ֑ם צָֽלֲלוּ֙ כַּֽעוֹפֶ֔רֶת בְּמַ֖יִם אַדִּירִֽים: | |
| 11 Who is like You among the powerful, O Lord? Who is like You, powerful in the holy place? Too awesome for praises, performing wonders! | יאמִֽי־כָמֹ֤כָה בָּֽאֵלִם֙ יְהֹוָ֔ה מִ֥י כָּמֹ֖כָה נֶאְדָּ֣ר בַּקֹּ֑דֶשׁ נוֹרָ֥א תְהִלֹּ֖ת עֹ֥שֵׂה פֶֽלֶא: | |
| 12 You inclined Your right hand; the earth swallowed them up. | יבנָטִ֨יתָ֙ יְמִ֣ינְךָ֔ תִּבְלָעֵ֖מוֹ אָֽרֶץ: | |
| 13 With Your loving kindness You led the people You redeemed; You led [them] with Your might to Your holy abode. | יגנָחִ֥יתָ בְחַסְדְּךָ֖ עַם־ז֣וּ גּאָ֑לְתָּ נֵהַ֥לְתָּ בְעָזְּךָ֖ אֶל־נְוֵ֥ה קָדְשֶֽׁךָ: | |
| 14 Peoples heard, they trembled; a shudder seized the inhabitants of Philistia. | ידשָֽׁמְע֥וּ עַמִּ֖ים יִרְגָּז֑וּן חִ֣יל אָחַ֔ז יֽשְׁבֵ֖י פְּלָֽשֶׁת: | |
| 15 Then the chieftains of Edom were startled; [as for] the powerful men of Moab, trembling seized them; all the inhabitants of Canaan melted. | טואָ֤ז נִבְהֲלוּ֙ אַלּוּפֵ֣י אֱד֔וֹם אֵילֵ֣י מוֹאָ֔ב יֹֽאחֲזֵ֖מוֹ רָ֑עַד נָמֹ֕גוּ כֹּ֖ל יֽשְׁבֵ֥י כְנָֽעַן: | |
| 16 May dread and fright fall upon them; with the arm of Your greatness may they become as still as a stone, until Your people cross over, O Lord, until this nation that You have acquired crosses over. | טזתִּפֹּ֨ל עֲלֵיהֶ֤ם אֵימָ֨תָה֙ וָפַ֔חַד בִּגְדֹ֥ל זְרֽוֹעֲךָ֖ יִדְּמ֣וּ כָּאָ֑בֶן עַד־יַֽעֲבֹ֤ר עַמְּךָ֙ יְהֹוָ֔ה עַד־יַֽעֲבֹ֖ר עַם־ז֥וּ קָנִֽיתָ: | |
| 17 You shall bring them and plant them on the mount of Your heritage, directed toward Your habitation, which You made, O Lord; the sanctuary, O Lord, [which] Your hands founded. | יזתְּבִאֵ֗מוֹ וְתִטָּעֵ֨מוֹ֙ בְּהַ֣ר נַֽחֲלָֽתְךָ֔ מָכ֧וֹן לְשִׁבְתְּךָ֛ פָּעַ֖לְתָּ יְהֹוָ֑ה מִקְּדָ֕שׁ אֲדֹנָ֖י כּֽוֹנְנ֥וּ יָדֶֽיךָ: | |
| 18 The Lord will reign to all eternity | יחיְהֹוָ֥ה | יִמְלֹ֖ךְ לְעֹלָ֥ם וָעֶֽד: | |
| 19 When Pharaoh’s horses came with his chariots and his horsemen into the sea, and the Lord brought the waters of the sea back upon them, and the children of Israel walked on dry land in the midst of the sea, | יטכִּ֣י בָא֩ ס֨וּס פַּרְעֹ֜ה בְּרִכְבּ֤וֹ וּבְפָֽרָשָׁיו֙ בַּיָּ֔ם וַיָּ֧שֶׁב יְהֹוָ֛ה עֲלֵהֶ֖ם אֶת־מֵ֣י הַיָּ֑ם וּבְנֵ֧י יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל הָֽלְכ֥וּ בַיַּבָּשָׁ֖ה בְּת֥וֹךְ הַיָּֽם: | |
| 20 Miriam, the prophetess, Aaron’s sister, took a timbrel in her hand, and all the women came out after her with timbrels and with dances. | כוַתִּקַּח֩ מִרְיָ֨ם הַנְּבִיאָ֜ה אֲח֧וֹת אַֽהֲרֹ֛ן אֶת־הַתֹּ֖ף בְּיָדָ֑הּ וַתֵּצֶ֤אןָ כָל־הַנָּשִׁים֙ אַֽחֲרֶ֔יהָ בְּתֻפִּ֖ים וּבִמְחֹלֹֽת: | |
| 21 And Miriam called out to them, Sing to the Lord, for very exalted is He; a horse and its rider He cast into the sea | כאוַתַּ֥עַן לָהֶ֖ם מִרְיָ֑ם שִׁ֤ירוּ לַֽיהֹוָה֙ כִּֽי־גָאֹ֣ה גָּאָ֔ה ס֥וּס וְרֹֽכְב֖וֹ רָמָ֥ה בַיָּֽם: |
Exodo 15(1-21)
15(1) Entonces Moisés y los hijos de Israel entonaron este cántico al Eterno, diciendo:
“Cantaré al Eterno, exaltando Su grandeza. Al caballo y al jinete arrojó al mar.
(2) Mi fortaleza es el Eterno, es mi gloria, Él es mi salvación. Es mi Dios y como tal Lo alabaré. Es el Dios de mis padres y como tal Lo exaltaré.
(3) El Eterno es el Señor de la guerra. Eterno es Su Nombre.
(4) Precipitó en el mar los carros del faraón y su ejército a sus capitanes escogidos los tragó el Mar Rojo.
(5) Los abismos lo cubrieron y como si fueran piedras bajaron a las profundidades.
(6) Tu diestra, oh Eterno, magnificada por Tu fuerza, Tu diestra, oh Eterno, aniquiló al enemigo.
(7) En la plenitud de Tu poder quebranta, a Tu adversario les envías Tu luz que los consume como paja,
(8) y con el soplo de Tu aliento se elevaron y se abrieron las aguas, deteniéndose como si fueran muro, se congelaron los abismos en medio del mar.
(9) Dijo el enemigo: Los perseguiré, los alcanzaré y que se separen sus despojos con los que hallaré mi alma, desenvainaré mi espada y los quebrantará mi mano”.
(10) pero Tú soplaste con Tu poderoso hálito y el mar los fue cubriendo hasta que se hundieron como plomo en las poderosas aguas.
(11) ¿Quién como Tú, entre los dioses, oh mi Señor? ¿Quién como Tú, inmenso en santidad. El más digno de alabanzas y hacedor de milagros.
(12) Cuando extendiste Tu diestra, se los tragó la tierra.
(13) Con Tu misericordia guiaste al pueblo que redimiste, Los condujiste a Tu santa morada.
(14) Escucharon otros pueblos y se estremecieron. Se apoderaron el temor de los filisteos.
(15) Se angustiaron los principes de Edom, temblaron los valientes de Moab y el miedo dominó a todos los cananeos.
(16) Se abatieron espantados por el poderío de Tu brazo y enmudecerán como piedra hasta que pase Tu pueblo oh Eterno hasta que pase el pueblo que Tú redimiste.
(17) Los llevarás para que alaben en el monte de Tu santidad, allí los asentarás, Oh Eterno, en el Santuario que Tus manos prepararon.
(18) y reinará el Eterno para siempre”.
(19) Y penetró el caballo del faraón con su carro y sus jinetes en el mar, y el Eterno hizo tornar sobre ellos las aguas, en tanto que los hijos de Israel habían cruzado el mar en seco.
(20) y María la profetisa, hermana de Aarón, tomó el pandero en la mano y salieron tras ella todas las mujeres con panderos y danzas,
(21) y les exhortó María: “Cantad al Eterno exaltando Su grandeza, pues al caballo y al jinete arrojó al mar”.

Tehillim – Psalms – Chapter 35
| 1 Of David. O Lord, strive with those who strive against me, battle my foes. | אלְדָוִ֨ד | רִיבָ֣ה יְ֖הֹוָה אֶת־יְרִיבַ֑י לְ֜חַ֗ם אֶת־לֹֽחֲמָֽי: | |
| 2 Grasp a shield and encircling armor, and rise to my assistance. | בהַֽחֲזֵ֣ק מָגֵ֣ן וְצִנָּ֑ה וְ֜ק֗וּמָה בְּעֶזְרָתִֽי: | |
| 3 And arm Yourself with a spear and bar the way before my pursuers; say to my soul, “I am your salvation.” | גוְהָ֘רֵ֚ק חֲנִ֣ית וּ֖סְגֹר לִקְרַ֣את רֹֽדְפָ֑י אֱמֹ֥ר לְ֜נַפְשִׁ֗י יְשֻֽׁעָתֵ֥ךְ אָֽנִי: | |
| 4 May those who seek my life be shamed and embarrassed; may those who plan my harm draw backward and be abashed. | דיֵבֹ֣שׁוּ וְיִכָּֽלְמוּ֘ מְבַקְשֵׁ֪י נַ֫פְשִׁ֥י יִסֹּ֣גוּ אָח֣וֹר וְיַחְפְּר֑וּ חֹ֜שְׁבֵ֗י רָֽעָתִֽי: | |
| 5 Let them be as chaff before the wind, with an angel of the Lord thrusting them. | היִֽהְי֗וּ כְּמֹ֥ץ לִפְנֵי־ר֑וּחַ וּמַלְאַ֖ךְ יְהֹוָ֣ה דֹּחֶֽה: | |
| 6 May their way be dark and slippery, with an angel of the Lord pursuing them. | ויְֽהִי־דַרְכָּ֗ם חֹ֥שֶׁךְ וַֽחֲלַקְלַקֹּ֑ת וּמַלְאַ֥ךְ יְ֜הֹוָ֗ה רֹֽדְפָֽם: | |
| 7 For without cause they have hidden for me a pit, yea a net; without cause they have dug it for my soul. | זכִּֽי־חִנָּ֣ם טָֽמְנוּ־לִ֖י שַׁ֣חַת רִשְׁתָּ֑ם חִ֜נָּ֗ם חָֽפְר֥וּ לְנַפְשִֽׁי: | |
| 8 May darkness that he does not know come upon him, and his net that he hid shall ensnare him; in the darkness may he fall into it. | חתְּבוֹאֵ֣הוּ שׁוֹאָה֘ לֹ֪א יֵ֫דָ֥ע וְרִשְׁתּ֣וֹ אֲשֶׁר־טָמַ֣ן תִּלְכְּד֑וֹ בְּ֜שׁוֹאָ֗ה יִפָּל־בָּֽהּ: | |
| 9 And my soul shall exult in the Lord; it shall rejoice in His salvation. | טוְנַפְשִׁי תָּגִ֣יל בַּֽיהֹוָ֑ה תָּ֜שִׂישׂ בִּישֽׁוּעָתֽוֹ: | |
| 10 All my bones shall say, O Lord, who is like You, Who saves a poor man from one stronger than he and a poor man and a needy one from one who robs him. | יכָּ֥ל עַצְמֹתַ֨י | תֹּאמַרְנָה֘ יְהֹוָ֗ה מִ֥י כָ֫מ֥וֹךָ מַצִּ֣יל עָ֖נִי מֵֽחָזָ֣ק מִמֶּ֑נּוּ וְעָנִ֥י וְ֜אֶבְי֗וֹן מִגֹּֽזְלֽוֹ: | |
| 11 False witnesses rise up; they ask me of things that I know not. | יאיְקוּמוּן עֵדֵ֣י חָמָ֑ס אֲשֶׁ֥ר לֹֽא־יָ֜דַ֗עְתִּי יִשְׁאָלֽוּנִי: | |
| 12 They recompense me with evil instead of good, death to my soul. | יביְשַׁלְּמ֣וּנִי רָ֖עָה תַּ֥חַת טוֹבָ֗ה שְׁכ֣וֹל לְנַפְשִֽׁי: | |
| 13 But, as for me, when they were ill, my attire was sackcloth; I afflicted myself with fasting, and may my prayer return upon my bosom. | יגוַֽאֲנִ֚י | בַּֽחֲלוֹתָ֡ם לְב֬וּשִׁי שָׂ֗ק עִנֵּ֣יתִי בַצּ֣וֹם נַפְשִׁ֑י וּ֜תְפִלָּתִ֗י עַל־חֵיקִ֥י תָשֽׁוּב: | |
| 14 I walked about as though it were a friend or as though it were my own brother; I was bowed with gloom as the mourning of a mother. | ידכְּרֵ֣עַ כְּאָח־לִ֖י הִתְהַלָּ֑כְתִּי כַּֽאֲבֶל־אֵ֜֗ם קֹדֵ֥ר שַׁחֹֽתִי: | |
| 15And, when I limped, they rejoiced and gathered; lame people gathered about me, [why,] I do not know. Were they to tear, they would not draw blood. | טווּבְצַלְעִי֘ שָֽׂמְח֪וּ וְנֶֽאֱ֫סָ֥פוּ נֶֽאֶסְפ֬וּ עָלַ֣י נֵ֖כִים וְלֹ֣א יָדַ֑עְתִּי קָֽרְע֥וּ וְלֹא־דָֽמּוּ: | |
| 16 Because of the flattery of scorn for food, they gnash their teeth at me. | טזבְּחַנְפֵי לַֽעֲגֵ֣י מָע֑וֹג חָרֹ֖ק עָלַ֣י שִׁנֵּֽימוֹ: | |
| 17 O Lord, how long will You look on? Return my soul from their darkness, my only one from young lions. | יזאֲדֹנָי֘ כַּמָּ֪ה תִ֫רְאֶ֥ה הָשִׁ֣יבָה נַ֖פְשִׁי מִשֹּֽׁאֵיהֶ֑ם מִ֜כְּפִירִ֗ים יְחִֽידָתִֽי: | |
| 18 I will thank You in a large assembly; in a mighty people I will praise You. | יחא֣וֹדְךָ בְּקָהָ֣ל רָ֑ב בְּעַ֖ם עָצ֣וּם אֲהַֽלְלֶֽךָּ: | |
| 19 Let them not rejoice over me, those who are my enemies for an unjust cause, neither shall those who hate me for nought wink their eyes. | יטאַל־יִשְׂמְחוּ־לִ֣י אֹֽיְבַ֣י שֶׁ֑קֶר שֽׂנְאַ֥י חִ֜נָּ֗ם יִקְרְצוּ־עָֽיִן: | |
| 20 For they do not speak peace, and against the crushed people of the earth they think words of deceit. | ככִּ֚י לֹ֥א שָׁל֗וֹם יְ֫דַבֵּ֥רוּ וְעַ֥ל רִגְעֵי־אֶ֑רֶץ דִּבְרֵ֥י מִ֜רְמוֹת יַֽחֲשֹׁבֽוּן: | |
| 21 And they opened their mouth wide against me and they said, “Aha! Aha! Our eyes have seen [what we desired].” | כאוַיַּרְחִ֥יבוּ עָלַ֗י פִּ֫יהֶ֥ם אָֽ֖מְרוּ הֶאָ֣ח | הֶאָ֑ח רָֽ֘אֲתָ֥ה עֵינֵֽינוּ: | |
| 22 You saw, O Lord, do not be silent; O Lord, do not distance Yourself from me. | כברָאִ֣יתָה יְ֖הֹוָה אַל־תֶּֽחֱרַ֑שׁ אֲ֜דֹנָ֗י אַל־תִּרְחַ֥ק מִמֶּֽנִּי: | |
| 23 Arouse Yourself and awaken to my judgment, my God and my Lord, to my cause. | כגהָעִ֣ירָה וְ֖הָקִיצָה לְמִשְׁפָּטִ֑י אֱלֹהַ֖י וַֽאדֹנָ֣י לְרִיבִֽי: | |
| 24 Judge me according to Your righteousness, O Lord, my God, and let them not rejoice over me. | כדשָׁפְטֵ֣נִי כְ֖צִדְקְךָ יְהֹוָ֥ה אֱ֜לֹהָ֗י וְאַל־יִשְׂמְחוּ־לִֽי: | |
| 25 Let them not say in their hearts, “Our soul rejoices.” Let them not say, “We have swallowed him up.” | כהאַל־יֹֽאמְר֣וּ בְ֖לִבָּם הֶאָ֣ח נַפְשֵׁ֑נוּ אַל־יֹֽ֜אמְר֗וּ בִּלַּֽעֲנֽוּהוּ: | |
| 26 Let them be ashamed and abashed together, those who rejoice at my misfortune; let them be clothed in shame and disgrace, those who raise themselves haughtily over me. | כויֵ֘בֹ֚שׁוּ וְיַחְפְּר֨וּ | יַחְדָּו֘ שְׂמֵחֵ֪י רָעָ֫תִ֥י יִלְבְּשׁוּ־בֹ֥שֶׁת וּכְלִמָּ֑ה הַמַּגְדִּילִ֥ים עָלָֽי: | |
| 27 Let those who desire my vindication sing praises and rejoice, and let them constantly say, “May the Lord, Who desires the peace of His servant, be magnified.” | כזיָרֹ֣נּוּ וְיִשְׂמְחוּ֘ חֲפֵצֵ֪י צִ֫דְקִ֥י וְיֹֽאמְר֣וּ תָ֖מִיד יִגְדַּ֣ל יְהֹוָ֑ה הֶֽ֜חָפֵ֗ץ שְׁל֣וֹם עַבְדּֽוֹ: | |
| 28 And my tongue shall utter Your righteousness, Your praise all day long. | כחוּלְשׁוֹנִי תֶּהְגֶּ֣ה צִדְקֶ֑ךָ כָּל־הַ֜יּוֹם תְּהִלָּתֶֽךָ: |
Por David: Combate, Adonái, a mis adversarios, libra guerra contra mis atacantes.
Sujeta escudo y armadura y levántate en mi defensa.
Extrae la lanza y el hacha delante de mis perseguidores. Di a mi alma: “Yo soy tu salvación”.
Sean avergonzados y caigan en desgracia aquellos que procuran mi vida; que retrocedan y sean humillados quienes planean mi mal.
Haz que sean como afrecho al viento; y que el ángel de Adonái los aparte.
Sea su camino oscuro y resbaladizo, persiguiéndolos.
Porque sin motivo me ocultaron en una fosa con su red, sin razón cavaron para matarme.
Que la oscuridad venga sobre ellos inesperadamente; que su propia red, que él ocultó, lo atrape. Que caiga en el sheól.
Y mi alma se alborozará en Adonái, se alegrará en Su salvación.
Declare todo mi ser: ¡Adonái, Quién es como Tú, que salva al pobre del que es más fuerte que él, al pobre y al menesteroso del que iba a robarle!
Falsos testigos se alzan; me pregunta lo que yo no sé.
Me retribuyen mal por bien, muerte para mi alma.
Pero, en cuanto a mí, cuando ellos enfermaban, mi ropa era arpillera y me afligí con ayuno.
En cuanto a mí, que mi plegaria regrese a mi propio pecho.
Como por un compañero, como por mi propio hermano, procedí; como en luto por una madre, me encorvé desoladamente.
Pero cuando vacilé, ellos se alborozaron y se unieron; en mi contra se unieron los cojos — no sé por qué.
Ellos se enfurecieron contra mí y no fueron silenciados. Por causa de la lisonja y la burla ofrecida por comida, rechinaron sus dientes contra mí.
Mi Señor, ¿cuánto puedes soportar? Haz volver mi vida de la oscuridad de ellos, mi alma de los leoncillos.
Te agradeceré en una gran congregación; delante de una poderosa multitud te loaré.
Que ellos no se regocijen por mí, mis adversarios, por una causa falsa; o aquellos que me odian infundadamente, que sus ojos no guiñen.
Pues no es paz lo que ellos hablan, y contra el pueblo de la tierra subyugado traman falsamente.
Ellos abren ampliamente sus bocas en mi contra. Dicen: “¡Ajá! ¡Ajá! ¡Nuestros propios ojos vieron!”
Tú viste, Adonái, no calles. Mi Señor, no Te quedes lejos de mí.
Recuerda y despierta para mi juicio, Mi Dios, mi Señor, por mi causa. Júzgame conforme Tu integridad, Adonái, mi Dios, y que ellos no se regocijen de mí.
Que no digan en sus corazones: “¡Regocíjense nuestras almas!”
Que no digan: “¡Lo hemos tragado!” Que sean avergonzados y humillados juntos aquellos que se alegran de mi desgracia; que sean vestidos en bochorno y desprecio quienes se engrandecen por mi causa.
Que canten en júbilo y se alegren quienes desean mi rectitud.
Que siempre digan: “¡Sea glorificado Adonái! ¡El, que desea la paz de su servidor!”

| 12 Fortunate is the man whom You, Yah, chastise, and from Your Torah You teach him. | יבאַשְׁרֵ֚י הַגֶּ֣בֶר אֲשֶׁר־תְּיַסְּרֶ֣נּוּ יָּ֑הּ וּמִתּוֹרָֽתְךָ֥ תְלַמְּדֶֽנּוּ: | |
| 13 To grant him peace from days of evil, while a pit is dug for the wicked. | יגלְהַשְׁקִ֣יט ל֖וֹ מִ֣ימֵי רָ֑ע עַד־יִכָּרֶ֖ה לָֽרָשָׁ֣ע שָֽׁחַת: | |
| 14 For the Lord will not forsake His people, nor will He desert His inheritance. | ידכִּ֚י | לֹֽא־יִטֹּ֣שׁ יְהֹוָ֣ה עַמּ֑וֹ וְ֜נַֽחֲלָת֗וֹ לֹ֣א יַֽעֲזֹֽב: | |
| 15 For until righteousness will judgment return, and after it all those upright in heart. | טוכִּֽי־עַד־צֶ֖דֶק יָשׁ֣וּב מִשְׁפָּ֑ט וְ֜אַֽחֲרָ֗יו כָּל־יִשְׁרֵי־לֵֽב: | |
| 16 Who will rise up for me against evildoers; who will stand up for me against workers of violence? | טזמִֽי־יָק֣וּם לִ֖י עִם־מְרֵעִ֑ים מִֽי־יִתְיַצֵּ֥ב לִ֜֗י עִם־פֹּ֥עֲלֵי אָֽוֶן: | |

| 19 With my many thoughts within me, Your consolations cheered me. | יטבְּרֹ֣ב שַׂרְעַפַּ֣י בְּקִרְבִּ֑י תַּ֜נְחוּמֶ֗יךָ יְֽשַֽׁעַשְׁע֥וּ נַפְשִֽׁי: | |
| 20Will the throne of evil join You, which forms iniquity for a statute? | כהַיְחָבְרְךָ כִּסֵּ֣א הַוּ֑וֹת יֹצֵ֖ר עָמָ֣ל עֲלֵי־חֹֽק: | |
| 21They gather upon the soul of the righteous and condemn innocent blood. | כאיָגוֹדּוּ עַל־נֶ֣פֶשׁ צַדִּ֑יק וְדָ֖ם נָקִ֣י יַרְשִֽׁיעוּ: | |
| 22But the Lord was my fortress, and my God the rock of my refuge. | כבוַיְהִ֣י יְהֹוָ֣ה לִ֣י לְמִשְׂגָּ֑ב וֵֽ֜אלֹהַ֗י לְצ֣וּר מַחְסִֽי: | |

94 Jehová, Dios de las venganzas,
Dios de las venganzas, muéstrate.
2 Engrandécete, oh Juez de la tierra;
Da el pago a los soberbios.
3 ¿Hasta cuándo los impíos,
Hasta cuándo, oh Jehová, se gozarán los impíos?
4 ¿Hasta cuándo pronunciarán, hablarán cosas duras,
Y se vanagloriarán todos los que hacen iniquidad?
5 A tu pueblo, oh Jehová, quebrantan,
Y a tu heredad afligen.
6 A la viuda y al extranjero matan,
Y a los huérfanos quitan la vida.
7 Y dijeron: No verá JAH,
Ni entenderá el Dios de Jacob.
8 Entended, necios del pueblo;
Y vosotros, fatuos, ¿cuándo seréis sabios?
9 El que hizo el oído, ¿no oirá?
El que formó el ojo, ¿no verá?
10 El que castiga a las naciones, ¿no reprenderá?
¿No sabrá el que enseña al hombre la ciencia?
11 Jehová conoce los pensamientos de los hombres,
Que son vanidad.
12 Bienaventurado el hombre a quien tú, JAH, corriges,
Y en tu ley lo instruyes,
13 Para hacerle descansar en los días de aflicción,
En tanto que para el impío se cava el hoyo.
14 Porque no abandonará Jehová a su pueblo,
Ni desamparará su heredad,
15 Sino que el juicio será vuelto a la justicia,
Y en pos de ella irán todos los rectos de corazón.
16 ¿Quién se levantará por mí contra los malignos?
¿Quién estará por mí contra los que hacen iniquidad?
17 Si no me ayudara Jehová,
Pronto moraría mi alma en el silencio.
18 Cuando yo decía: Mi pie resbala,
Tu misericordia, oh Jehová, me sustentaba.
19 En la multitud de mis pensamientos dentro de mí,
Tus consolaciones alegraban mi alma.
20 ¿Se juntará contigo el trono de iniquidades
Que hace agravio bajo forma de ley?
21 Se juntan contra la vida del justo,
Y condenan la sangre inocente.
22 Mas Jehová me ha sido por refugio,
Y mi Dios por roca de mi confianza.
23 Y él hará volver sobre ellos su iniquidad,
Y los destruirá en su propia maldad;
Los destruirá Jehová nuestro Dios.
