Tehillim – Psalms – Chapter 147

16 Él da la nieve como lana; Dispersa la escarcha como cenizas.

16 He gives snow like wool; He scatters hoarfrost like ashes. טזהַנֹּתֵ֣ן שֶׁ֣לֶג כַּצָּ֑מֶר כְּפ֖וֹר כָּאֵ֣פֶר יְפַזֵּֽר:

10 For, just as the rain and the snow fall from the heavens, and it does not return there, unless it has satiated the earth and fructified it and furthered its growth, and has given seed to the sower and bread to the eater, יכִּ֡י כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֣ר יֵרֵד֩ הַגֶּ֨שֶׁם וְהַשֶּׁ֜לֶג מִן־הַשָּׁמַ֗יִם וְשָׁ֙מָּה֙ לֹ֣א יָשׁ֔וּב כִּי אִם־הִרְוָ֣ה אֶת־הָאָ֔רֶץ וְהֽוֹלִידָ֖הּ וְהִצְמִיחָ֑הּ וְנָ֚תַן זֶ֙רַע֙ לַזֹּרֵ֔עַ וְלֶ֖חֶם לָֽאֹכֵֽל:

10 Porque, así como la lluvia y la nieve caen del cielo y no vuelven allí, a menos que hayan saciado la tierra, la hayan fructificado y hayan hecho crecer su crecimiento, y hayan dado semilla al sembrador y pan al que come,

ISAÍAS 55

(1) Todos los sedientos, venid por agua. Y el que no tenga dinero, que venga, compre y coma. Venid, comprad vino y leche, sin dinero y sin precio.

(2) ¿Por qué gastáis dinero para lo que no os satisface? Escúchame diligentemente y comed lo que es bueno; que se deleite vuestra alma en grosura.

(3) Inclinad vuestro oído y venid a Mí. Escuchad y vuestra alma vivirá; haré pacto eterno con vosotros, con las seguras misericordias de David.

(4) He aquí que le he puesto por testigo para los pueblos, un príncipe y comandante de los pueblos.

(5) He aquí  que llamarás a una nación que no conoces y una nación que no conociste correra a ti a causa de Eterno tu Dios y por el Santo de Israel, porque Él te ha glorificado.

(6) Buscad al Eterno mientras puede ser hallado. Llamadle mientras esté cerca.

(7) Que el malvado abandone su camino y que el inicuo pierda sus pensamientos y vuelva al Eterno; El tendrá compasión de él y nuestro Dios perdonará en abundancia.

(8) Por cuanto Mis pensamientos no son vuestros pensamientos, ni son vuestros caminos Mis caminos, dice el Eterno.

(9) Porque así como los cielos son más altos que la tierra, así son Mis caminos más altos que vuestros caminos y Mis pensamientos lo son más que vuestros pensamientos.

(10) Porque así como baja la lluvia y la nieve del cielo y no vuelven allí sino que riegan la tierra, la hacen florecer, dan semilla al sembrador y pan al que come,

(11) Así sera mi palabra que sale de mi boca, la cual no volverá a mí nula sino que cumplirá lo que Yo desee y hará prosperar la cosa donde Yo la envíe.

(12) Porque saldréis con júbilo y seréis conducidos en paz. Las montañas y las colinas irrumpirán ante vosotros cantando; todos los árboles del campo batirán palmas.

(13) En vez del espino, subirá el ciprés y en vez de la zarza, subirá el arrayán. Y  será para el Eterno como un recordatorio, una señal eternaque nunca será quitada.

Yeshayahu – Isaiah – Chapter 55

1 Ho! All who thirst, go to water, and whoever has no money, go, buy and eat, and go, buy without money and without a price, wine and milk. אה֚וֹי כָּל־צָמֵא֙ לְכ֣וּ לַמַּ֔יִם וַֽאֲשֶׁ֥ר אֵין־ל֖וֹ כָּ֑סֶף לְכ֚וּ שִׁבְרוּ֙ וֶֽאֱכֹ֔לוּ וּלְכ֣וּ שִׁבְר֗וּ בְּלוֹא־כֶ֛סֶף וּבְל֥וֹא מְחִ֖יר יַ֥יִן וְחָלָֽב:
2 Why should you weigh out money without bread and your toil without satiety? Hearken to Me and eat what is good, and your soul shall delight in fatness. בלָ֚מָּה תִשְׁקְלוּ־כֶ֙סֶף֙ בְּלוֹא־לֶ֔חֶם וִיגִיֽעֲכֶ֖ם בְּל֣וֹא לְשָׂבְעָ֑ה שִׁמְע֨וּ שָׁמ֚וֹעַ אֵלַי֙ וְאִכְלוּ־ט֔וֹב וְתִתְעַנַּ֥ג בַּדֶּ֖שֶׁן נַפְשְׁכֶֽם:
3 Incline your ear and come to Me, hearken and your soul shall live, and I will make for you an everlasting covenant, the dependable mercies of David. גהַטּ֚וּ אָזְנְכֶם֙ וּלְכ֣וּ אֵלַ֔י שִׁמְע֖וּ וּתְחִ֣י נַפְשְׁכֶ֑ם וְאֶכְרְתָ֚ה לָכֶם֙ בְּרִ֣ית עוֹלָ֔ם חַסְדֵ֥י דָוִ֖ד הַנֶּאֱמָנִֽים:
4 Behold, a witness to nations have I appointed him, a ruler and a commander of nations. דהֵ֛ן עֵ֥ד לְאוּמִּ֖ים נְתַתִּ֑יו נָגִ֥יד וּמְצַוֵּ֖ה לְאֻמִּֽים:
5 Behold, a nation you do not know you shall call, and a nation that did not know you shall run to you, for the sake of the Lord your God and for the Holy One of Israel, for He glorified you. ההֵ֣ן גּ֚וֹי לֹֽא־תֵדַע֙ תִּקְרָ֔א וְג֥וֹי לֹֽא־יְדָע֖וּךָ אֵלֶ֣יךָ יָר֑וּצוּ לְמַ֙עַן֙ יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ וְלִקְד֥וֹשׁ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל כִּ֥י פֵֽאֲרָֽךְ:
6 Seek the Lord when He is found, call Him when He is near. ודִּרְשׁ֥וּ יְהֹוָ֖ה בְּהִמָּצְא֑וֹ קְרָאֻ֖הוּ בִּֽהְיוֹת֥וֹ קָרֽוֹב:
7 The wicked shall give up his way, and the man of iniquity his thoughts, and he shall return to the Lord, Who shall have mercy upon him, and to our God, for He will freely pardon. זיַֽעֲזֹ֚ב רָשָׁע֙ דַּרְכּ֔וֹ וְאִ֥ישׁ אָ֖וֶן מַחְשְׁבֹתָ֑יו וְיָשֹׁ֚ב אֶל־יְהֹוָה֙ וִירַֽחֲמֵ֔הוּ וְאֶל־אֱלֹהֵ֖ינוּ כִּֽי־יַרְבֶּ֥ה לִסְלֽוֹחַ:
8 “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways,” says the Lord. חכִּ֣י לֹ֚א מַחְשְׁבוֹתַי֙ מַחְשְׁב֣וֹתֵיכֶ֔ם וְלֹ֥א דַרְכֵיכֶ֖ם דְּרָכָ֑י נְאֻ֖ם יְהֹוָֽה:
9 “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts [higher] than your thoughts. טכִּי־גָֽבְה֥וּ שָׁמַ֖יִם מֵאָ֑רֶץ כֵּ֣ן גָּֽבְה֚וּ דְרָכַי֙ מִדַּרְכֵיכֶ֔ם וּמַחְשְׁבֹתַ֖י מִמַּחְשְׁבֹֽתֵיכֶֽם:
10 For, just as the rain and the snow fall from the heavens, and it does not return there, unless it has satiated the earth and fructified it and furthered its growth, and has given seed to the sower and bread to the eater, יכִּ֡י כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֣ר יֵרֵד֩ הַגֶּ֨שֶׁם וְהַשֶּׁ֜לֶג מִן־הַשָּׁמַ֗יִם וְשָׁ֙מָּה֙ לֹ֣א יָשׁ֔וּב כִּי אִם־הִרְוָ֣ה אֶת־הָאָ֔רֶץ וְהֽוֹלִידָ֖הּ וְהִצְמִיחָ֑הּ וְנָ֚תַן זֶ֙רַע֙ לַזֹּרֵ֔עַ וְלֶ֖חֶם לָֽאֹכֵֽל:
11 so shall be My word that emanates from My mouth; it shall not return to Me empty, unless it has done what I desire and has made prosperous the one to whom I sent it. יאכֵּ֣ן יִֽהְיֶ֚ה דְבָרִי֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר יֵצֵ֣א מִפִּ֔י לֹֽא־יָשׁ֥וּב אֵלַ֖י רֵיקָ֑ם כִּ֚י אִם־עָשָׂה֙ אֶת־אֲשֶׁ֣ר חָפַ֔צְתִּי וְהִצְלִ֖יחַ אֲשֶׁ֥ר שְׁלַחְתִּֽיו:
12 For with joy shall you go forth, and with peace shall you be brought; the mountains and the hills shall burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field shall clap hands. יבכִּֽי־בְשִׂמְחָ֣ה תֵצֵ֔אוּ וּבְשָׁל֖וֹם תּֽוּבָל֑וּן הֶֽהָרִ֣ים וְהַגְּבָע֗וֹת יִפְצְח֚וּ לִפְנֵיכֶם֙ רִנָּ֔ה וְכָל־עֲצֵ֥י הַשָּׂדֶ֖ה יִמְחֲאוּ־כָֽף:
13 Instead of the briar, a cypress shall rise, and instead of the nettle, a myrtle shall rise, and it shall be for the Lord as a name, as an everlasting sign, which shall not be discontinued.” יגתַּ֚חַת הַֽנַּֽעֲצוּץ֙ יַֽעֲלֶ֣ה בְר֔וֹשׁ וְתַ֥חַת (כתיב תַ֥חַת) הַסִּרְפָּ֖ד יַֽעֲלֶ֣ה הֲדַ֑ס וְהָיָ֚ה לַֽיהֹוָה֙ לְשֵׁ֔ם לְא֥וֹת עוֹלָ֖ם לֹ֥א יִכָּרֵֽת:
