| 23 Arouse Yourself and awaken to my judgment, my God and my Lord, to my cause. | כגהָעִ֣ירָה וְ֖הָקִיצָה לְמִשְׁפָּטִ֑י אֱלֹהַ֖י וַֽאדֹנָ֣י לְרִיבִֽי: | |
| 24 Judge me according to Your righteousness, O Lord, my God, and let them not rejoice over me. | כדשָׁפְטֵ֣נִי כְ֖צִדְקְךָ יְהֹוָ֥ה אֱ֜לֹהָ֗י וְאַל־יִשְׂמְחוּ־לִֽי: | |
| 25 Let them not say in their hearts, “Our soul rejoices.” Let them not say, “We have swallowed him up.” | כהאַל־יֹֽאמְר֣וּ בְ֖לִבָּם הֶאָ֣ח נַפְשֵׁ֑נוּ אַל־יֹֽ֜אמְר֗וּ בִּלַּֽעֲנֽוּהוּ: | |

Los Salmos 35
Contiende, Eterno, contra mis enemigos;
combate a mis adversarios.
2 Toma el escudo y al pavés,
y levántate en mi ayuda.
3 Saca la lanza, cierra contra mis perseguidores;
Di a mi alma: Yo soy tu salvación.
4 Que se avergüencen y se confundan todos los que buscan mi alma;
que retrocedan frustrados, los que desean mi mal.
5 Que sean como el cascarilla frente al viento,
Y que el el ángel divino, los ahuyente
6 Que sus caminos sean oscuros y resbaladizos,
y el ángel divino los persiga.
7 Pues sin causa escondieron para mí su red en un hoyo;
han cavaron injustamente contra mi.
8 Que la desgracia caiga sobre ellos desprevenidos,
Que la red que tendieron los atrape;
Que caigan en ella en desgracia.
9 Mi alma se alegrará en el Eterno;
Se regocijará por Su salvación.
10 Todos mis huesos dirán: “Eterno, ¿quién como Tú,
Que libras al afligido del más fuerte que él,
Tú salvas al pobre del más poderoso que él”
11 Surgieron falsos testigos ;
y sobre lo que no supe me cuestionaron.
12 Me pagaron mal por bien,
desamparando mi alma.
13 Y yo, cuando ellos enfermaron, me vestí de duelo;
Afligí mi cuerpo en ayuno ,
Y mi oración se volvía a mi seno.
14 Como quien está de duelo por su madre, me inclinaba enlutado.
15 Pero cuando yo tropecé, alegremente se reunieron:
Se juntaron contra mí los malvados, sin que yo lo supiera;
se partían de risa y no callaban
16 SE mofaban con burlas vanas,
Crujieron contra mí sus dientes.
17 Eterno, ¿hasta cuándo lo tolerarás?
Rescata mi alma de sus tormentos, mi única vida de los leones.
18 Te agradeceré ante una gran congregación;
Ante la muchedumbre te alabaré
19 No se alegren de mí los que sin causa son mis enemigos,
Ni guiñen contra mí sus ojos, los que me odian sin motivo.
20 Porque ellos no hablan de paz;
Y contra los mansos de la tierra piensan palabras engañosas.
21 Abrieron contra mí su boca;
Dijeron: ¡Ea, ea, nuestros ojos lo han visto!
22 Tú lo has visto, oh Eterno; no calles;
Eterno, no te alejes de mí.
23 Acuérdate y despiértate para mi juicio,
y mi pleito ¡oh Eterno, mi Di-s! para defender mi causa.
24 Júzgame conforme a tu justicia, Jehová Dios mío,
Y no se alegren de mí.
25 No digan en su corazón: ¡Ea, alma nuestra!
No digan: ¡Le hemos devorado!
26 Sean avergonzados y confundidos a una los que de mi mal se alegran;
Vístanse de vergüenza y de confusión los que se engrandecen contra mí.
27 Canten y alégrense los que están a favor de mi justa causa,
Y digan siempre ¡Sea exaltado el Eterno
el que desea la paz de su siervo!
28 Y mi lengua recitará de tu justicia
Y todo el día Tu alabanza.
